Agreed. Regrets and more regrets but this corrupt deceptive and incompetent board have a lot to answer for. I should have sold up at 24p but kept hearing about how this board were so ‘genuine,honest and competent’ that I got sucked in. What a joke and they have been complete failures and not done anything in 15 years plus.

What an amazing job and lifestyle. Get paid for doing nothing and doing this year by year.

Yes I am getting more worried. Judging by how this incompetent BOD have been treating PET shareholders and at their recent AGM had nothing to report despite being paid for ‘developing projects and negotiations’ it does look bleak. I am really really hoping for a miracle in that they are chosen as one of the 9 companies. I agree it looks that way because of all the ‘hints and clues’ but I am also well aware that the BOD are deceptive, lying and clever tricksters who are trying to stay trading for as long as they can by doing anything they can thing of.

Let me be clear, I hope we are chosen and this should result in a spike where I will sell all my holding. However if we are not one of the 9 then all hope is lost and confirmation of that will be clear.

Thanks for sharing Dutch. I looked at his Twitter account and couldn’t make sense of it as his ramping is completely over the top.

Right now I am just waiting for news. If we are not one of the 9 companies the company is a dead duck. Ghana is unlikely for many years or never will so Bolivia is key.

DH has this awful intentional habit of providing the most vague messages and replies. Once can read into what he has written in many different ways.

From my understanding the 9 companies have been informed of their success by YLB. They should now be in the process of signing agreements etc.

If clontarf are not aware of it then that means they have not been selected. However how I read DH’a reply is that he is saying ‘YLB’ have not announced the names yet so he cannot neither.

We will find out in a few weeks but I am hoping they can provide us with ‘hints and clues’ at the Agm.
If they are still talking positively about Bolivia it may mean they have been selected but can’t announce it.

Let’s hope that is the case. With regards with Ghana ENI has made a new discovery and I am hoping that may make the president hurry up and ratify their agreement(but ‘hope’ is all it is)

You have made some good points but most importantly the timelines are bearable to wait. What I mean by this is that if we were talking about another 18 months that would probably lead me to the mental ayslum. However as Yannis shared that article I would imagine that the announcements should be announced in the coming weeks and maybe maximum 2 months. I can wait that extra time and be a bit more patient for that.

I genuinely do not intend to dampen any enthusiasm but if we were close to anything surely their recent RNS would have indicated this or given some clues? As Earl said recently - based in the RNS it appears nothing will happen for a while.

So my point is that if they were given positive news by the Bolivians surely there would be some positive indication in their RNS? The way it was worded did not indicate that.

I so so hope there is good news that will result in a spike. Yannis I do not recall the sp ever rising to 1.94. I think it went up to 1.52 as I was stupid enough to purchase more at that price.

As exciting as Bolivia is it annoys me that the Ghana matter is taking so long and has no associated timelines. I read an article about ENI making some new oil discoveries a few days ago and we need our agreement ratified so we can jump straight in with a partner. I just don’t understand what is taking so long as it was agreed and apparently just needs presidential ratifying.

We could be here for months and the years discussing ‘if this happens then so will rise’ and many ifs and buts but we need something real very soon as cannot be in a limbo state like this.

I have fully behind and part of the PET movement to hold the same BOD accountable and hope that it may in some way have a positive impact here too.

FIRST IF we are chosen then this is certainly reassuring news. All this stuff we have heard about Peter O tooles long standing history means it has counted for something. It will mean the Comoany is not dead and we have some hope.

However if we are not chosen then this is ‘dead company walking’. Some rampers will surely criticise me and say ‘ Paula we have 18 months of dining and are no dead’ but that doesn’t mean much. It just means their wages are paid for 18 months which is no use to us.

Let’s hope that news is released soon so one way or another we know the situation.

Confu I remember you from a few years ago. I do agree with what you are saying. I am not here to deranged but open people’s eyes. That may make me a target with some of the rampers but hey I too really want this company to do well and raise the SP.

I would not say that my investment is 100% lost as of yet. If something happens with Bolivia and Ghana this share could spike quickly which is why I am now looking at this board more regularly. At the same time I am aware this BOD can’t even negotiate the simplest of things so don’t expect much.

Reading people writing about something happening with ‘Ghana’ have clearly not read the RNS which sound like hope has been lost

First let me apologise for my earlier post. It sounded worse than I meant because of typos and auto text.

Anyway I am sure you are aware that there are thousands of not millions of websites around the world that lie and mislead and never face any prosecution. With regards to clontarf all I am saying is that they intentionally ‘mislead’ with words like ‘awaiting’, ‘in negotiations’ ‘aiming to’.

These are all well used words and are vague and mean little. Earl was correct when he said that their RNS made things clear that nothing will happen for the foreseeable future. If you base it on what little they have achieved so far then you may say nothing will EVER HAPPEN and all DH and the BOD are doing is getting paid for doing nothing.

He may send an email to a Ghana contact and for many month day he is ‘working hard negotiating’. Is that considered a lie? Maybe not but it’s outright misleading and inaccurate.

It makes me sad and angry when I read posts from people like Palace Pete (on ADVN board) who has lost 72k. And after that gets a slap in the face by DH with a rude reply to shareholder questions.

The BOD has no ‘integrity’ and ZERO considerations for us their shareholders.

I want to do something to make them accountable and do a bit of work.

I urge you all to read the past few days posts on ADVN about Pet resources (same BOD as Clon).

It’s becoming clear what a hopeless, disrespectful and arrogant board we all have and this shocking incident has made me more worried than ever.

We will be aiming to try and hold the BOD accountable by requesting a special meeting they are proving to be a blatant bunch of crooks.

Yes Nick that’s about right. Problem is that the Ghana president and parliament seems to be out of touch with the teen ‘modern government’. For those that have the painful excruciating torture of watching parliamentary proceedings you k ow how slow they are. As I have said before I agree that common sense urges the government to act as quickly as possible. As I understand it the president only need to ratify the agreement but I suspect that the fiscal rules would have changed and it may now result in a new agreements with years of ‘negotiations’ OR cancelling it. Either way it will take a long time judge judging by their speed they work out. You would think that with the impact of covid and the move towards green energy they would want to work as quickly as possible but anything with clontarf and Ghana appears to be the exact opposite of common sense

However we wait and see

We have a number of ‘rampers’ here spreading false rumours and sharing their ‘something brewing in the background feelings’ and yet the reality of the RNS states nothing really is happening and also unlikely to happen anytime soon.

So all these views are meaningless and have no facts behind them. It’s painful and difficult sure to wait. Nick I appreciate the company has another 18 months of funding in order to make ‘something happen’ but when you add the 18 months to ten plus years you can appreciate it’s not an easy wait

If you want to know how ‘solid’ this board is, look no other than at DH’a response to a group of shareholders that email him in the ADVN board. Nothing more of unprofessional, petty, disrespectful and full of contempt

Nick 2 years ago we were at the same point. On the edge of my seat thinking I was about to hit the jackpot and waiting eagerly. I also was watching the incredibly boring and what look like slow motion parliamentary proceedings posted by bridges expecting ratification at any time. 2 years on it seems a distant memory and reading the recent RNS - appears further away than it did 2 years ago

Gulable once again has been proved correct despite the attacks on him. The usual ‘pump and dump’ excercise which takes place regularly over the past few years has once again taken place. Each time it does we read of all these big statements ‘get ready for the SP to rocket’, ‘something is happening in the background’ , ‘got a good feeling’. ‘News brewing’, ‘newspeak’ etc

If you don’t mind me asking what do you think went wrong here? I know the obvious things but I feel I need to understand what happened in Dec 2019 Better. At that time we had so many people posting here about this share beings a ‘dead cert’.

We were all watching Ghana parliament sittings (watching paint dry was more interesting) and awaiting news any single day. I stupidly got sucked in even more and bought more shares for 1.52, recall.

There was bridges and many others who were talking about drilling and sp price projections but why did it not take off even before covid-19 which kicked in around March which was 4 months after?

Any insight would be helpful. It may be the case most were all rampers but there was so much confidence of imminent news?

Hi Yannis, Nothing surprises me with this company at all. I feel they are intentionally evasive and try to make things as vague as unclear as possible to deter shareholders getting hold of the right information. Its something people do when they are acting rather 'shady' and want to hide things from people. I toll will dig a bit deeper today and see if i can find anything

Yes CONFU I remember you too, from a few years ago and completely hear what you are saying. I have very little confidence but am stuck here and have no choice until a spike occurs. Yes I remember the infamous 'BRIDGES' all too well and there is no doubt he suckered in so many naive mugs like me. Lessons learnt I guess but it has certainly been a painful lesson.
