Yanis there are so many disgraceful acts committed by the BOD . I am so pleased that people on another board have written a letter to the Board of PET (linked to CLON) about shareholder concerns

Despite being so frustrated I hope that there is an opportunity for another spike and will be hoping for some positive news at the AGM this week.

This will be very very important as they will have to be more transparent than last time. We need an accurate and true picture of where all these many ‘negotiations’ are at the moment.

We were supposed to hear news about Nigeria weeks ago (according to some people posting here), we are awaiting a TR1 update, we are waiting for news on Bolivia and Ghana.

If the AGM is just as vague and ridiculous as the last one then we are in serious trouble. The fact that this company has funds for awhile means little as we shareholders don’t see any of it.

Yes I agree Nick that is a realistic possibility. One of the problems here is how broken spirited many of us are and how little confidence we all have. We make statements such as ‘fill your boots’ and ‘perfect time to buy’ and ‘this will spike any day’ but when you study the language we use we tend to include -
‘I don’t think’, ‘I hope not’, ‘hopefully’ ....::imagine we were were being sold something and the person was using these type of low confidence words. Let me be clear this is not an insult to anyone as I use these type of words. It’s reflective of how much faith I have lost over these years

I am waiting for news on Bolivia, news on Ghana, Nigeria and anywhere else but there is no doubt that there is a high possibility NOTHING WILL HAPPEN excepting the company’s directors being paid.

Thanks beetroot. Yes I sent my details to Kickson and in hindsight should have informed this board too. So thanks for doing it. Appears there are around 60 shareholders who have signed up and together make up quite a large holding.

This Company has been on a downward spiral and will do whatever it can to ‘float a few more years’ so they can maintain their expensive lifestyle.

Gulable I completely agree. I have been saying something similar for a while now . The BOD are crooks and been ‘having a laugh’ at our expense.
I wonder what options we have to stop them treating us as complete helpless muppets (that’s what I feel like sometimes).

They will drag this out for another 10 years and suck in more mugs. I have recently accepted that I will not likely make my money back and in fact have to accept a pretty big loss if there is any rumour of a spike. Forget selling out at a dream figure of 1.52 I would look into accepting 1 pence just so I can stop reading this board and doing anymore research on this disgraceful hopeless BOD.

Wise words and you did the right thing at sold out. I stupidly hit so carried away that I bought more event at 11p and thought I could make a 9 bagger just on that. How wrong I was but you live and learn.

Over the years I can’t recall Pet appearing to be in a weaker position. I couldn’t even imagine and more depressing, resigned to accept failure and denied of any hope - RNS as was issued.

For those who may be wondering why we are talking about PET, it is because they are so closely linked.
We are waiting for any Nigerian news that somebody said have been out last week and also waiting for any Tr 1 news. All I seem to be waiting and waiting and the hope that keeps me going is that next one spike which will result in me selling ASAP and moving on to more professional companies.

Amers - appreciated. I so wish I could attend that meeting. I would be as bold and direct as I am on here with the BOD. I would ask them to support what they are saying and why so little progress has been made after so many years. DH was positive and provided hidden clues at the last AGM ‘sooner than you think’ and I cannot predict what will be the tone. Positive thing is that at least it takes place soon and then we can see what the current situation is.

Chitta - I have been kicking myself for not selling at 27p. Greed took over and I remember how amazing my investment account looked. Everyone on the group had that time were so confident of Pet hitting the £1 mark and so I stayed for the ride. Hindsight and experience are wonderful things and ‘if’ ( a big if) anything similar happens again I know when I will cash out.

Two weeks ago we were expecting an RNS on Tr 1 , bladderman. Amers and co were forecasting BIG SPIKES and here we are with the SP lower than then.

Tricky uncertain times and it appears the BOD are rock bottom and may try to devise some new false hope to keep the company going for a little bit longer

At these prices I will never sell and will unfortunately have to die by my sword and live with any awful decision of being invested here.

No offence at all meant but I think ‘wishful thinking’ may need to be replaced with ‘delusional thinking’.
What I mean by that is that how can anyone of us say Ghana may be close when the RNS makes it clear that the BOD have no damn idea and it can be contrued that it would be no surprise if-
- it is ever ratified
- or it may be ratified after another few years.

Hope is something else. If the RNS was no there then I would have ‘joined you in hope about Ghana’ but the RNS is quite clear which makes my ‘hope’ rock bottom.

Once again I ask this group, does anyone know about the apparent upcoming agm ???? I need more hope .hope u get my point.

Your patience may be tested like min and 10 years on I would be interested to read your posts.

You may be ‘fully loaded’ to financial disaster and I hope that does not happen. If this share does not hit 1.52 I will surely be taking a large significant hit. My patience is almost diminished and we need updates from next agm.

Delays delays and more delays in everything associated with Clon! Have you ever seen a company experience delays lasting over a decade. Nothing ceases to amaze me. Delays and more delays in everything they do and everything they touch!

I was horrified with how depressing the PET RNS was. Ghana seems dead despite all these people posting about ‘Ghana needs this urgently’, ‘common sense says Ghana must ratify ASAP’ etc a point to note is that anything with clontarf and pet seems to defy logic.

So depressing and painful.

However I will continue to speak the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

I can’t wait to hear what comes out from the next AGM which I think is this month. As much as I dislike the BOD and company I would be delighted with making my money back and genuinely hope something good happens. Based on past history unlikely, but you never know and all we need is one miracle (even if a temporary miracle) to see a spike.

Yes Chitta I would have thought so, unless of course oilmanmike knows something that I don’t. I have googled to see if any indication of any announcement in Nigeria and would not find much.

The problem with boards like this (I am not referring to oilmanmike) is that there is so little accountability and honesty. For example one week ago we had 20 or 30 posts each day talking about massive spikes, Tr 1 updates and now these past few days everybody has disappeared and it’s quiet.

I’ve been here a while and expect to be here longer . I’ve seen names of the same people and of the same people with new names here on countless occasions.

This Company is not just poor, but TERRIBLE at communication. It worries me that they have gone into other parts of the world when they were apparently so close to ratification after 10 plus years.
If they cannot get that off the line after 10 years can you imagine starting again in a new country? So maybe we can expect being ‘close to ratifaction’ of something in Nigeria in 10 years and then it will go quiet again.
I used to admire DH in terms of his background and apparent integrity. As years go by it reduces more and more.

I appreciate you are really hoping for this share to finally come good as am I. However the problem is words such as ‘if’s, ‘likely’ and thens. After over a decade this company considers itself in its early stage.

I read that a decision in Nigeria was due to be made on 31st may? I also thought an Tr1 announcement was due out last week?

I can hear a pin drop here. Awful and eerily quiet. Price gone down after the usual rumour fuelled spike. Those that have been here a while understand the consistent trends that take place here with new people. Rumour - rampers (or other way round) - spike - massive so Re rate projections and a flurry of confident posts from people I’ve never heard of - to so going down and staying that way until the next rumour or ramp.

Like clockwork.

Can you imagine working for a company over a decade and still talking about ‘hope and optimism’ when the so rate is approx sun 0.40? Just think about that. 10 years plus and the value of the so is below half a pence? What does that tell you?

It is clear that I am a frustrated shareholder and I admit to that. But what gets me is the constant ramping from a few people who somehow lure people in.

Without naming names there are two people that post quite a bit and people seem to mention the as some kind of people in the know and experience. These same two people were made fun of and laughed at two years ago by respected (respected then - past tense) investors then. Now they turn up again and have managed to convince new mugs.
Be careful people beware. I admit to be wicked in myself by my some ‘big playas’ like massiveray and bridges so know about mistakes.

The answer is simple. Defensive people for a company that has cheated so many can only be rampers. Simple as that.

As a long term shareholder myself this company has shown nothing but disregard for me and it’s shareholders. That have waffled and lied and tried to use hope to keep us from screaming too loud.
No loyalty can exist with this company as there has been no goodwill respect or any efforts made to shareholders.

Many are here just to breakeven and get the help out.

All rather quiet here people? Where all the people that were making predictions of this share ‘firing like a rocket’, going up to 0.5 then 1p and then reach 1.80?

Don’t get me wrong I would love this to rocket to 1.5p plus......but the major rampers here surely do a good job. Same as the rampers last year and before that.
