agreed JF - with about 46% of pop fully vaccinated and over 60% with first dose you would have to hope they'll soon see the benefits kick in, though I haven't seen stats as to how effective the Chinese vaccine is against the Delta variant - that said I haven't heard adverse reports either.
I think SL have used a lot of the Chinese vaccine.

Not sure that this should have necessarily impacted the progress of the EIA at this stage as covid has been around for so long and according to Frayne they're having zoom calls about the project. Or more probably had one zoom call about it. But anyway...

I have t say I love what the guys have done with this company BUT what really worries me are the finances required to accomplish what's next. When that's settled this becomes an investible prospect.

the 2p resistance seems to be pretty insurmountable without something solid like unequivocal assay results, a JV or positive news on the licence, 'sentiment' is unlikely to push this through. Apologies to all the 'my gut feeling' & 'I'm a half-glass-full ' types.
Where we go from here without news rather depends on how hot the money was that pushed us to 2p and where it sees opportunities elsewhere.
One observation, I think the volume on the way up was much bigger that it has been on the way down so may not experience meaningful support until it retraces fully back to the 1.4 - 1.5p range. I'M NOT saying we're definitely going there, before the meangirls start applying their lippy, but support doesn't feel as strong as the resistance right now.

In the interim of course there could be an RNS anytime - perhaps ECR could buy something else?

Honestly I'm 50-50 on which it could go from here. History, recent history, tells me lower, but I wouldn't be a buyer or a seller at the moment

So correct if I'm wrong but the last time we rallied like this was on the announcement of the purchase of the second rig. so shareholders interpreted that and this announcement on the property purchase as ECR demonstrating confidence - great.

But we still don't have the drilling results/JV/Licence announcement that may sustain/propel these rallies. I agree this rally does seem stronger than the previous one to 2p but look we still haven't broken through and settled above the 2p or 2.2p level overnight. I don't care about intraday.
I agree sentiment seems to have improved, but sentiment is a wavering thing and can turn pretty quickly especially if we fail to break through soon. If that happens I could see the price falling back to 1.7-1.8p range not sure we could be back in the 1.40s, but who knows, if the next set of results are interpreted as previously...

bear in mind there's a triple top at 2p so it may be tough to breach and remain above.

This share would test the patience of a saint, though I think most of the impatient holders got out over the summer. If we don't see some sort of progress soon I fear we will see a second wave of selling coming into autumn. So Dalt's prediction may not be too far off the mark...

I was reading back over the last RNS, and the first stipulation for the award of options was
500,000 after 3 months' engagement

I'm in agreement with both AG & HH and it is great to see the positive sentiment returning to the stock but I also appreciate a balanced board which certainly helps me make better investment decisions. And everyone here should welcome that.

It's understandable that people get a little carried away, after all it has been a large % rise in the last couple of days - but putting it in perspective, we are still below 2p the current momentum is not strong enough to break that resistance (who knows, maybe next week)- ask yourself why.
As HH has said the story being told is great, and the extrapolations even greater, but in CB's own words we have to allow the 'truth machines' replace the fiction with the facts. I believe that is what the market is really waiting for before rerating the stock.
ECR's time may well come - they have a lot of of irons in the fire - but it is certainly NOT a matter of when not if. It is only a probability (we attached different percentages) not a certainty.

Fact is Alan Green uses GGP comparison in practically every video, literally the same day he used it in pow.

There wasn't anything new in his video. The purchase of the land is interesting but now it's leading to the wildest suggestions. I would simply point out that developing a mine is going to cost a lot more than £4m, a lot more!

Great to see this week's strength, BUT we still have not breached 2p and the strength of buying seems to have petered a tad. Probably a limited short covering rally up to 1.9p.

hopefully not back down to the roaring 40s, but ya never know...

I think the possible game changers here, as just about everyone has iterated already:
1. Winning the extra Creswick licence,
2. A JV , any JV (though likely to offer only temporary respite)
3. Finding Gold gold gold
4. Being able to announce a JORC defined resource.
5 (Don't shoot me, but...) A new CEO. I do like CB but I think the market cannot forgive what happened to the share price under his leadership. Whilst I admire him standing up and saying he made a mistake going forward with the placing he DID go forward with it. He is the CEO and he's supposed to lead.

don't get me wrong , Lucky, I'm not saying it's bad it is very forward thinking. Just that going on share price movements perhaps not aligned with the more limited forward thinking of the people trading this share right now, that's all.
