But yes I agree about costs of a dual listing - pretty unwarranted at this stage in ECR's lifecycle. Also from memory in that interview CB said it would improve liquidity - I don't see ANY liquidity problems with ECR on AIM whatsoever.

I'm afraid I don't listen to a lot of what CB says now about the future -he's proven time and again he can change his mind almost instantly. I rather just look at facts now, pointless speculating with this guy.

good to see them doing this though. ECR did a similar thing in the Philippines and they good no end of praise in the local press. This is all part 'n parcel of getting that EIA & ML over the finish line.

keeping an eye on this one. I think drift or stagnation possible for a while. Have a similar play on with CMET - although that's a one project Mineral Sands play. Mineral Sands here looks good too, but with time before critical EIA & ML next year - for me that'll be the earliest biggest share boost event here. But definitely interested in buying a chunk at some point.

I am kind of envying your position, LW, able to sit out and prepare to pounce back in. There is no way I could rebuild my stake on a 'pounce' back in - if we get good news of course.

Frayne may of course have been working franticly in the background in the last few months doing other things to prepare after the EIA & ML but as shareholders we need to seen some bloody forward movement. I cannot imagine the large shareholders that have been here for five years have been kept in the dark.

LW, we've had a second rig on the ground for quite some time. We are 1.6p bid

Communication with Shareholders - at least the ones not listed in the accounts is utterly dismal. We've made every excuse under the sun for Frayne & CO. but it's simply not good enough. The interview with Sarah Crowther at the end of July was at worst misleading or at best naïve, to state 'within a month', never give any sort of deadline regardless how loose unless you are 100% certain.
Technical Manager options kick in after 3 months (November 16th), it's clear now that was basically to get him to stay for at least three months so Frayne must have known a meaningful delay was at least a possibility - he could have afforded the OWNERS of the company the same honest courtesy instead of the 'within a month' debacle he's led us into.

Yeah, I'm in a bad mood - September 24th and we're not much further along.

The mini sp spat this morning seems to be recovering, famous last words, and I agree the company needs to say something by the end of the month if there's nothing official coming out of Sri Lanka. CMET had started giving monthly updates in May & July, so they haven't officially communicated anything in nearly two months. Given the CEO's last verbal update to the market was EIA approval was practically imminent he needs to update shareholders and NOT JUST the largest ones privately.

This has to start looking good to finally reopen in October.
