RE: COVID treatment costs20 Nov 2021 08:32
Oh and just in case there is any confusion, price and value are not the same thing.
Sometimes a company with good value can be had for a cheap price, but MXC isn't that I'm afraid.
Not yet anyway, but of course that could change. However I think this is going to take years, not months.
I'm not saying MXC may not come good, I just pointing out that all this talk of price manipulation by several posters here is nonesense.
As MXC is loss making, as the months roll on, its accounts fall in value, that changes the value of the stock, its simply worth less, just like on payday we are worth more than the end of the month when we have paid all the bills. If its worth less its only natural the SP should reflect this. Of course other factors may allow a stock to trade at a premium, but MXC dosen't warrant trading at a premium as no other relevant factors are present. At the moment anyway, although of course that can change as I don't know what the future holds.
If you have done your research, (most haven't, I'm afraid social media and bb's don't count) by all means buy and hold, but lets keep grounded somewhere near reality.
MXC is a stock with potential, that as yet has not been met.
It is a stock that as far as I can tell is laying some solid foundation work that may allow it see its potential, or despite its efforts maybe not. If I knew for sure either way I'd be a far richer investor.
