In November 2019 when we acquired Vanchem there were 485 employees and contractors in the Bushveld company, today on the interview Fortune stated that Bushveld had 750 employees. That’s without the electrolyte factory, now just imagine the growth of employment if we win some of the Eskom contracts in all of the support and ancillary companies that are aligned with the projects.
Was just a pipe dream 2 years ago and Mikhail was talking about 6 revenue streams, now it is coming to fruition. BE has stakes in Invinity, Enerox, electrolyte factory and electrolyte rental what is missing is the development side especially in Africa. I believe that will happen with mini-grids and the privatisation of electricity utilities, but BE will have to take partners to fulfil this part of their business plan. Winning an Eskon contract would be spectacular and would be the catalyst to put us on the map but there are other opportunities across the whole of Africa. Like many of you i have been here 7 years and have experienced all the highs and lows and frustration, but the next 6 months will determine whether we are on the cusp of an energy revolution or a small SA energy company that tried but failed to make its presence felt in the renewable energy sector as the climate phenomenon becomes universal political policy.
When regular reports are forecast the traders seem to buy into the possibility of transformational news. When the RNS drops and that transformational news is not forth coming the traders pull their money out to await the next regulatory report and the SP goes down. But soon and i believe very soon that RNS is going to drop with transformational news which is going to launch the SP into a higher projectory. I hope that news comes in an out of the blue RNS which helps LTH who do not trade this share.
Not sure Cellcube is trading at the moment, not filed accounts since June 2019 and could not find money to complete their audit. September 29th 2020 Canadian Stock Ex stop the trading in their shares. Monies they got for Enerox sale and other asset sales was given to debenture holders. The only assets i can find is the 10% in Enerox i believe the Cellcube website is way out of date.
Very very good news. In June 2020 the USA Board of Trade filed a section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act because there was concerns that the import of vanadium was having a detrimental effect on National Security and there would have to be tariffs and quotas placed on the import of vanadium into the USA. This contract with invinity to test vanadium for ultra defence purposes may just stop quotas and tariffs.
I wonder if this is BE first electrification contract, its not beyond the realms of probability that Fortune has done a deal with the development company and stated that i am doing a mini grid for my factory why not do it for the whole development park. A mini grid at Vametco and hopefully one at an industrial area. Fingers crossed.
I live in the London Borough of Wandsworth and i have noticed single EV charging points in old lampposts with a sign from Siemens showing how to use the charging point. Are there other areas using lamppost charging points?
