I expect that the manager of the electrolyte facility has already been identified and the process for his/her recruitment is already ongoing to ensure they are available for the fit out of the plant. With the East London plant the only vanadium electrolyte facility in the western hemisphere where do you recruit and train your staff, i imagine there is going to be a lot of on the job training. There are now 961 staff and contractors working for Bushveld, further recruitment at Vametco and Vanchem
as the refurbishment and expansion increases. Further employments when vrfb assembly or manufacture commences, how many staff required at the electrolyte plant i wonder? Then consider the development, installation and maintenance of projects in South Africa and across the African continent. Then there is the development of Mokopane and all the ancillary jobs that get created by a strong growth company. I hope that the consultant who is chosen to help Eskom with the tender process remembers the clause in the tender contract that says companies that creat employment beyond the initial contracts will be favoured.
I was just flipping through a Bushveld presentation when this information caught my eye.
Bushveld have a strict policy to hire and buy from the local communities whenever they can.
We have excellent environmental policies that brings local community leadership into the decision making process. We have 38 bursaries , 24 of those awarded to females. 22 funded learnerships (i think this means apprentice) in mining trades such as fitting and turning, electrical, instrument mechanics, boiler making and diesel mechanics. 4 local students are in 2 year internships studying finance and chemistry, and 5 community members are in 1 year internships studying an assortment of mechanical engineering. When the Eskom contracts are decided i hope that they realise that Bushveld are already bringing employment education and supporting the youth of SA.
Faramog, BE could quickly bring the 3 kilns at Vanchem into play in a quicker time scale as i understand a rail line links Mokopane to Vamchem. Build another kiln at Vametco or as you say do off take deals leaving most of the expense to others. What a great position to be in, if we win a substantial contract with Eskom and vrfb’s take off globally i believe Fortune has already thought this one through.
Owned Vanchem and took substantial credit loan notes as part of the sell. Bushveld are selling large quantities of vanadium chemicals to Duferco as can be seen in recent postings. My thoughts are that Duferco will want to stay close to Bushveld to maintain their supply line when vanadium becomes the energy storage darling metal. So what better way than to convert their loan notes into
Shares to ensure they are a substantial shareholder. That dilution may upset some shareholders but it is away for Fortune to get a major player on board. I hope the share price In October is much higher than it is now to lesson the dilution.
Dear ?
I read on social media that Coventry are installing an electric vehicle super hub. I support green energy renewable initiatives but must draw your attention to the lithium-ion storage battery safety record. Please research the lithium battery explosion on 19th April 2019 at Arizona when many firemen were injured, several very seriously. Also research the 23 lithium storage battery fires in South Korea in 2018/9. There have been many of these fires globally and the New York Fire Dept have strong reservations regarding these batteries. All this information can easily be found on the internet.
Best regards

Somtam67 i have not mentioned vrfb in any of my emails as i believe it will lower the impact and i would be seen as a vested interest. Be succinct regarding the safety record of lithium storage batteries and let them do the maths. I have to believe that somebody local government or the local media will ask the question,“ is there a safer alternative”
Somtam67, i kept my email very brief to warn them of the dangers of lithium batteries. I told them to research the lithium storage battery explosion on 19th April 2019 in Arizona when firemen were seriously injured. I reported the 23 fires in lithium storage batteries in South Korea in 2018/9 and mentioned the fact that the New York Fire Dept have serious reservations regarding their use. I stated that all this information is at their finger tips on the internet and did not require massive prolonged searching.
Dear,
I acknowledge the receipt of your email.
I have written to the West Midlands Fire Service on this matter to ensure they are aware of the risks
Of such batteries and to find out how they are working with Coventry to manage the risks.

Alfacomp, you know i am not going to sell my shares just yet, as i am waiting like you To see if the vrfb technology takes off. That does not prevent me from expressing my opinions to other shareholders that Fortune is doing nothing to protect the sp and he is the only person who can
Jhill84 of course we should have bought Vametco but the value of the deal is meaningless unless it
shows and brings shareholder value. Fortune is the only person in this company that has the power to take us of AIM where we are being bullied and shafted. If i was Fortune i would be very up set to see my business skills being thwarted by shorters, traders and MM’s and would want to protect my shareholders who actually owned the company. His do nothing attitude to the shafting we are getting is just p#ssing me off. I am by nature a fighter and i would do all in my power to support my shareholders after i Fortune have pulled off some amazing deals that have transformed this company. At an interview he stated that he would not get involved with the shsre manipulation. Yet recently he said he would see what he could do, all i want him to do is fight and stand up for us shareholders.
Is the problem!! We shareholders of Bushveld have been bullied for over 4 years and Fortune Majepelo has none nothing to protect us shareholders or the value of our company. The Majepelp disciples on this board will call me disingenuous and say what great deals he has done, ok lets look at those great deals. Vanchem what value has that great deal added to shareholder value? none. Vanchem what value has that deal added to shareholder value, we are told that it added $60 plus to the balance sheet, where is the value to the shareholder? Enerox great deal where is the value to the shareholder? We LT shareholders have been shafted for the last four years and Fortune Majepelo even poo poohed the idea on an interview that he should get involved in the blatant manipulation of our company’s share value. He Mr Majepelo is the only person who can counter this sustained attack on our investment, and he sits on his hands. Get us of AIM, you may like being shafted but it goes against everything i stand for to be bullied when there is a remedy.
I know his supporters will come at me but great deals are meaningless unless they add shareholder value. I am not a troll i have been here since October 2013 and have 3 million shares
purchased years ago so i am well above water, its just the sheer do nothing attitude of out BOD that has really got up my nose. Don’t come back and say just wait, the Eskom deal is just around the corner, what if we don’t win that deal and Eskom choose another technology. We have been waiting too long for great deals to move the SP.
Libero I apologise for a very bad joke, about 4 years ago Fortune stated that something was going to happen and it was imminent, and it did not happen in the time scale he predicted. So it became a joke on this board That any news was going to be imminent. I get my coat
