Fatbanker, the form that Introv produced yesterday said Brits mine in the heading this one produced by you has been corrected in my opinion.

Good research by Introv finds a current building application for an electrolyte plant for Bushveld at the Brits mine. Chika declares that the person who filed the application has made an error regarding the location. Please note Chika did not say there is no application for a second electrolyte, just that there is an error in location. Chika is correct, the location should read Vametco
where according to the rns dated 11th July 2018 states “ an EIA also required for the chemical plant that will be co located with Bushveld’s existing mining and processing facility at Vametco.”
One thing that i have noticed with Fortune having been a shareholder for 7 years is that he points you in the direction of travel and to the best of his ability will deliver. Therefore the application to build a second electrolyte plant is in my opinion correct even though the location might not be quite accurate and Chika is correct that the location as declared on the form is not exactly correct but she is in my opinion being absolutely correct, but trying to be evasive. Chika i am led to believe reads this board, i believe her reply to Introv was classic prevarication and equivocation. If there is no second electrolyte being incorporated with the chemical plant at Vametco she should say so.

I thought about Invinity and Enerox and to me they are firmly in the Bushveld camp, the use of the word external gave me the impression we might be linked to other partners for the tender process.

Just wondering why we would be tendering for Eskom contracts with an external consortium, i thought we would need an infrastructure partner to do the building work but to go outside SA is a surprise.

Are being developed with vanadium to give the battery extra density ( distanced travelled) and additional power which will allow it to be recharged faster. If these batteries become the norm this will be a real game changer.

Mikhail and Bushveld reports have indicated that much larger rental contracts are being negotiated globally so we now have a vehicle/ model for these larger contracts to be folded into.

In South Africa for the next few years is going to be 170m US dollars before the Eskom tenders, this has been well documented that must give some extra brownie points.

In my opinion will happen before the end of the December, the company stated on 23rd June that the rationale for the listing on the JSE was based on the following.
1. Our resources are located on the world renowned Bushveld Complex in SA the world’s largest primary vanadium resource base.
2. Our vertical integration aligns with the country’s push for increase local benefication of it’s mineral resources.
3. Our downstream energy storage aligns with the Government's stated goals of downstream mineral benefication and adopting energy storage.
4. Listing will allow us access to a significant pool of local investors who have an affinity with our story.
This rationale is clear and the requirements have been met so the listing should go ahead, in the next couple of months.

I have said this before but i will repeat it from the same rns,
“The company is working with energy policy makers on initiatives to reverse the downward trajectory in SA power system”. I must make the assumption that these initiatives mean vrfb’s
even if it is in hybrid systems.

Daisydog, Mikhail was counting into 6 revenue streams with the ultimate goal in being an independent electricity producer with continues yearly income across the whole industry. Mind numbing revenues.

If Bushveld get a fair share of the contracts on offer this will be the beginning of a new tech industry in South Africa that will expand globally. Extra staff will be needed at Vametco and Vanchem to meet expansion and refurbishment, and complete new staff at the electrolyte plant and additional work for the transport Industry. The manufacture or assembly of vrfbs will require many more employees with extra staff required in the supply chain. Mokopane will be required to help feed the electrolyte plant and perhaps supply off takes to China. Sales and development staff will be needed across Africa with a strong training and maintenance teams. Ancillary staff to help with rental agreements and much more opportunities in a multi billion revolution tech industry. This is just the opportunity that the President needs to invigorate the SA economy and stabilise Eskom.

I support Sanchez599 ideas that there is very sensitive commercial activity on going at the moment that has prevented the publication of the Q2 report. I sent a message to Chika asking for any indication as to the date of publication and i have received no reply. Two on going commercial
activities that are known come to mind, firstly in an rns dated 4th May 2020 Bushveld stated that they were in consultation with Sinohydro a subsidiary of Power China and other investors regarding the implementation Lemur/Imaloto Power project. Sinohydro must know that this project does not fit our green Image so is a deal to sell on the cards? Secondly the rns dated 23rd June laid down 4 criteria that must be met for Bushveld to join the JSE, i would argue that now Eskom have submitted the tender process for phase 1 of Bess, those criteria have been met and we should get onto the JSE as soon as possible having spent 1m usa dollars for listing.

On innovated financing development outcome. Saw this podcast on line so clicked onto it and to my surprise Fortune was not speaking but Sazini Mojapelo Fortune’s wife. She use to be at Barclays but now is Head of Citizenship and Community Investment at ABSA the banking company. I was intrigued so listen to the podcast which was a speech delivered at a banking conference. The theme was how does innovated financing help development, i immediately thought of electrolyte renting. Now i don’t know if Fortune got the idea from his wife or she used Bushveld’s announcement to push the theme of her speech but it was very well received. Sazini came across as very well positioned in the financial world in South Africa and they appear to be a great team who have a determination to better the lives of Africans. Go on line and there are many podcasts of this lady.

Alfacomp, don’t have any doubts about the the direction of the company but would like to be informed of the progress of some of the structural projects that are on going. Its a human trait called inquisitiveness.

I would like to have some news that is not commercially sensitive and does not require an rns, such as, how is the mini- grid at Vametco progressing and the refurbishment of the mine. How is the electrolyte plant coming along and time scales. How is the refurbishment at Vanchem coming along. Now that we own Enerox how is that structure fitting into BE. Is there any information that can be given to us that who are partners are. This information could be put on the website just to keep us informed of the progress of issues that have already been given to the market. I am sure there are lots of other snippets if information that board members would like to have progress on that does not require an rns.

In the end of year report Bushveld said, “The company is working with energy policy makers on initiatives to reverse the downward trajectory of the South African power systems.” We then get information that Eskom are going to recruit a consultant to assist Eskom in the tender selection. I am just wondering if Eskom want the consultant to research Bushveld’s initiatives to see if they are
practical and workable and to give a little distance between Eskom and Bushveld. Just my thoughts!!
