I think Scarf is being surreal. Mr Parsons is working for a zombie company and doesn't really have a job anymore. Like all middle aged " has beens" he cannot bring himself to tell his wife and family. He continues his routine of putting on his suit every morning and pretends to go off to work. The reality is that he spends his days in the park talking to the ducks and using his management experience in getting them to line up in a row so he and they can examine their respective Parsons nose ( ducks have them as well as chickens I believe). The ducks know Mr Parsons has run his company into the ground but wonder what they have done to reserve this. The truth is they were intimately involved from the beginning. If they would have lined up properly in the first place none of this would have happened.

Does it really matter? Another negative viewpoint from another person who is probably not a shareholder. Perhaps two. Everyone now knows what went wrong and why and what will go wrong in the future. Does anyone who posts here play football? Sound now has the market capitalisation equivalent to the price of a mediocre premiership footballer. The European transfer window is still open. Perhaps we could be sold to one of the Spanish giants.

The share price may be low but some people have made money. Mr Crudehope, Mr Parsons, Mr Gaspunter, Jez's mate at the Gherkin and his brother to name but a few. So, swings and roundabouts. Not all bad news.

Sound Energy, the Moroccan focused upstream gas company, is pleased to confirm that it has now received the final Competent Person's Report ("CPR") in relation to the A1 prospect in the Company's Tendrara-Lakbir permit, Eastern Morocco. The CPR is entirely consistent with, and confirms, the preliminary CPR results previously announced by the Company on 26 April 2018.



The CPR was conducted by RPS Energy Consultants Ltd ("RPS") and is the first in a series of CPRs planned across the Company's Eastern Morocco acreage following the acquisition of new 2D seismic. This CPR is compliant with the latest SPE Petroleum Resources Management System ("PRMS") approved definitions of Reserves and Resources. Etc,etc,etc

Although the good is in your garden it does not belong to you. You own the property not the mineral rights. Best thing to do is leave the good in the ground for the next person to discover.

The idea of saying 50p per Sound share is a low ball offer is ludicrous. That would value the Eastern Morocco portfo!io at over £1 billion. The rate at which the share price is falling could mean it is ten or twenty times the market capitalisation of Sound. Such an offer would have to be put to shareholders.

I think the reason for the RNS was the phrase "this marketing process is ongoing". Putting what Brian leaked a few weeks ago into the official words.

Mr n4aPound, as someone who said earlier in the day that the gas in the Te5 horst has disappeared in the last five years, why would you want to raise money and drill in the rest of Tendrara? Hasn't the gas there also disappeared with all them plate tectonic thingies?

RNS dated 18th June2019 : "Company continues to explore the marketing of its Eastern Morocco portfolio".
RNS today : "the Company continues to explore monetisation options available" and "marketing process is ongoing".
No longer exploring the marketing of the asset, the marketing is ongoing, confirming interest in the asset.

The trouble with clear statements is that they tend to get rewritten by those who know better.
