Sound Energy, the Moroccan focused upstream gas company, is pleased to confirm that it has now received the final Competent Person's Report ("CPR") in relation to the A1 prospect in the Company's Tendrara-Lakbir permit, Eastern Morocco. The CPR is entirely consistent with, and confirms, the preliminary CPR results previously announced by the Company on 26 April 2018.



The CPR was conducted by RPS Energy Consultants Ltd ("RPS") and is the first in a series of CPRs planned across the Company's Eastern Morocco acreage following the acquisition of new 2D seismic. This CPR is compliant with the latest SPE Petroleum Resources Management System ("PRMS") approved definitions of Reserves and Resources.

Yes, I think you're onto something there Mr JTF. The dribblings of someone on painkillers who is off to the cinema is the first place I would look for a clue to the future of Sound.

It he cannot sell the present asset for its true value there is little point in increasing the asset value only to be unable to sell at its true value. If he fails to monetise the assets at this juncture he should go elsewhere to rebuild his reputation. Not on the back of Sound shareholders. Exciting times.

I am not too sure. Te9 was a gamble, so was Te10. That's why they had a COS. If you think appraised assets like the Te5 horst are the way forward you may need to think again. The share price is currently a quarter of what might be the value of Te5. SKB-1,appraised, might also be discounted to the same extent. The be all and end all of an exploration company is discovery. That is what Mr Parsons aimed for. SKB-1 is still there for the cherry pickers. But the sale value of the company assets wouldn't be much advanced with SKB-1 under its belt. Exciting times.

I think Daddyo you make a good case for the path Sound decided to take. If it is so blindingly obvious to laymen that an easy win could could be obtained at SBK-1 then it will also be so for seasoned experts at the companies which might be interested in buying Sound. Therefore there was little upside for an exploration company. Exciting times.
