Thinline being used for tyre sensors? if you listen he says that the thinline from Murata is a stop gap solution...will have to be replaced by a tyre compatible solution, ie able to withstand the high temperatures used in the manufacturing process. Much like Cap-xx are trying to achieve with there oven soldering solution.

I think the graph showing the performance comparison with 10 competitors is interesting, i have seen this elsewhere (although i fail to find it again)...99% sure the competitor in second place was AVX...thats something to think about.

There are numerous statements from AK both written and verbal regarding future developments that have not yet materialised, past RNSs are littered with them...nothing new there in the world of AIM. IF Cap-xx did not have Licencees in the form of two multi billion capped companies then i agree that would be a little worrying.However they do! This market and developments are obviously hard to predict....Remember a certain Eric De Rose predicting something thats as yet not materialised...a bloke with nothing to gain by lying and a reputation to lose....BUT he still got it wrong!! The decision is an individual one...if you feel their will be nothing forthcoming then i,m sure everyone knows what they should do.

As for AVX and its 48v module....the module consists of SCM supercaps, applications are industrial....the Automotive developed supercaps are Hybrid. This is my understanding...but as always happy to be corrected.
