you would need something no bigger than approx 4mm in diameter....the umac is 4mm in diameter but its not a supercapacitor.
but as AK said we are not limited to certain sizes like most of our competitors.

unless the supercap has been fitted with no company identification...or samsung markings under licence then there are now people that will know exactly whats inside and as such have insider information.
But as we are not aware of all the details then even though we have not had any notifications yet i,m still hopeful.
Reading the rules helps....
we know there are people that have access and are doing tear downs...yet no tear down on the stylus? a select few have been issued these phones for this purpose and agreed not to publish the stylus findings or act on the information....i believe this is possible?

Surely there must be a legal obligation to have notified the market by now if Cap-xx related in any way?

i have seen no suggestion in all the reports i have read to suggest its either prismatic or a can.
i agree Tia that is one possible scenario, but thats just it i can think of several scenarios involving Cap-xx...yet to see any evidence suggesting otherwise. its ok to say i dont think we are involved...someone give me an alternative...please.

yes maybe so again...but you can then say why would anyone other than other supercap manufacturers licence our tech...why would they not go to Murata or AVX?

yes maybe but with the license also comes Cap-xx expertise...will be needed if going to be included in future products...

Depends on Samsungs long term plans...
sure they are capable of producing their own with our licence, after the initial licence fee it must work out cheaper than paying Murata.
if they have plans to include or have found another use for our tech in future products then it makes sense to license...if this is a one off then i agree makes sense to use Murata.

Its the 3v interview and the remark about the licensees educating illiterate engineers that does it for me...
but all guesswork,presumptions and dreams at the moment.

yes i noted that...but thinking about it, partners could mean Samsung sdi.

no i dont think it covers size, i,m just saying the power is usually relative to the size. lots of supercaps producers ...but i was unaware of any able to make them this small (and functional) without our tech

the hi cap range is i presume something similar to the umal. i know Samsung are capable of producing there own products...what i am asking is if this supercapacitor is anything other than Cap-xx tech and small supercaps can be produced then our licences are not as valuable as i thought....Note 9 in public hands on 24th so no longer than this to be informed....
