Scott, there are still some good companies on AIM, but you have to understand why they are there. You have to be careful but it is a risk and all you can do is mitigate or reduce risk, avoiding risk on AIM I think is impossible.

It is now an important part of my investment research, my experience here has really opened my eyes to how a government can effect a companies progress and I agree we should be looking into court action against them, I posted this 2 years ago and still believe we have a very good case. I hope we all learn from this experience.

When I invested in AST many years ago, I invested for many reasons the bod seemed good, the ideas they had were good, the one thing I didn't see coming was tbe Slovinian Government as being a problem and tbey are the ones I distrust most of all. So in my view, if the subsidiary was sold for 50 to 80 Million, I would stay in untill I understood shat the companies intention were, I don't think they would reinvest in Slovinia, I think it would look at opportunities in Italy, Hungary or Croatia where investment is welcomed. There would be little to no dilution and would be debt free with a healthy bank balance. Thanks for your views.

Most here are talking about the SP value when the company is sold or a value of a T/O and that's all very nice, I tend not to join in with that and rarely estimate what an SP will be at any point. There are many scenarios being touted by people here, T/O, J/V etc.... One scenario which I have put forwards but never gets a mention is a sell off of the subsidiary company only, in the past AST plc has disposed of other subsidiary companies with no shareholder vote. The plc could rid itself of the Slovinian interest and move on to other opportunities, maybe where the local government is more susceptible to investement.AST would have a large pot of money to seek out and work a new field. How do folks here think about that scenario, it is a option after all.

Rich is short for Richard, there is another name used other than Rich and I think that fit with you better.

Doesn't mean more dilution is to come, it means, currently the company is not in a financial position to expand which is why the development of the field is not on the plan untill next year. Taking facts out of context to press home your interpretation is misleading as it is untrue.
