Loads of buys showing as sells. Market is reporting the trades wrongly due to the huge spread. Don't know how the market can report false trades. Hardly transparent. It would appear they don't want you to know they are buys.

Standard licence extension is 12 months with no additional work obligations. This is automatically given by FIG as long as the company can demonstrate it has sufficient funds for the next 12 months. Although at the beginning of the year, the FIG gave BOR a 12 month extension even though they didn't have enough funds for the rest of the year. FIG very supportive.

BOR need to comment on how they will be taking advantage of the Goverment's new energy policy.

It's going to take years to explore and find oil and increase oil and gas supply. Darwin already discovered and just six producing wells produce at 90,000 barrels a day of oil and gas. Why would the government not invest in Darwin and get the oil and gas flowing. If fast tracked, could be done in 2 years as opposed 5 years in the North Sea for as yet undiscovered fields.

I wonder what BOR management have been doing. I hope they've not been sitting on their arses. No idea of updates which they said they would provide. Anyone spoken to the company?

North Sea oil and gas workers are also going on strike over pay and conditions. It means oils and gas being disrupted. Really bad situation with energy and it's not even winter. It's now or never for BOR.

It looks like oil and gas is going to be on the agenda for Liz Truss. Securing future supply and investing in oil and gas projects for energy security but North Sea will come up short. Oil majors will say we've extracted all the easy oil and gas. There's a lot of work to do to find new fields in the North Sea big enough for future energy security. Falklands is already discovered and ready to go. Just needs the investment.

The UK needs to secure it's energy for decades to come. This means upfront now. Oil and gas supply in huge volumes is needed that will bring UK prices down. This means large discoveries in untapped basins. The days of 500MMb finds in the North Sea are long gone.

I would say UKEF should be on the table for BOR. The government need to invest in oil and gas projects that benefit the UK.

Germany announce 65B Euro package. Why would any country continue to spend billions funding high gas prices and not actually tackle the problem which is to drill more gas wells and get the gas pumping to ease demand. I mean 65B Euros..come on. Could get gas from the Falklands for a fraction of that.
