Hi Anth, Yes I know Scotland well and many Scots. Lived in Glasgow 10 years. Scotland if independent would be illegal, which will result in a jail term for any government that held one, although Sturgeon knows this and suggests that any Indeyref2 would not be binding and just advisory because she doesn't want to go to jail like they did in Catalan. Also, Scotland will not be able to keep the pound and would have to have it's own currency which would mean devaluation for Scotland. Not only that, they would have to pay back billions to the UK treasury and will be forever in debt many times their GDP and so will never be able to pay back what they owe. Of course this would rank Scotland alongside somewhere like Argentina in credit rating and Scotland would never be able to borrow money. Ahh, but we have oil and gas I hear, however most of the large fields exist in the Southern North Sea and fall within England's maritime border. There's lots of other thing Sturgeon forgets to tell the Scottish people about independence. It's because none of it's good. It would make any proud Scots blood run cold.

Why would Scotland want to be country like Argentina with that economy?? Aye.

Well, BOR have done the hard work and laid the foundations. Just need the builder to come along. When it's finished there's a huge profits waiting to be made.

The FIG granted an extension at the beginning of the year before BOR had the placing done. Not sure how they managed that as they didn't have enough cash. I guess the FIG are very supportive.

Buffit, They won't drill before before end of December. BOR will apply for an extension for the licences and as long as they can demonstrate they can meet their financial obligations (admin etc) the Government grant another 12 months without any additional work commitments.

They have to drill a well. But that's been the case for years now and the FIG extend the licences by 12 months which is part of the regulations until they get a partner or finance to drill.

I thought we would have seen a holdings RNS. Things are being kept very well hidden. I wonder what's going on in the background with the trades today. After hour trades will be interesting if there are any. Keep checking those RNS's

Lets say an offer has been made but rejected. We know Harry and co will not sell on the cheap and too right. So what does a bidder do? Up it's offer? or maybe sound out other major shareholders? Damille Partners hold 10% Mr Brimacombe holds 7%, so that's 17%. Need 30% for a takeover, so only another 13% to accumulate. It's not much. As we have speculated, maybe the recent buying is the bidder accumulating 13%. If there's 3 or 4 individuals and they don't need to declare the first 3%, then they can bag 9-12% on the quiet. It's looking possible. Continued further large trades after hours will be telling.

There are some big buyers that want in. The difficulty is how to do it without spiking the stock. Lot's of tactics can be used as we've seen today. The energy security issue is never going to go away. BOR just holding on now for the big prize.

These large trades are not normal. I would have thought a holdings RNS would have been triggered by Mr Calgary if it were he seeing as 1% increases triggers an RNS. I can only think that maybe someone else is building a stake and they don't have to report until 3% is crossed which will allow them to accumulate 16m shares, hence no RNS. May also have a joint accumulation going on for a takeover ie two or more hoovering up shares to get as many before issuing a double holdings RNS.

Premier/Harbour Energy paid for all the drilling which RKH benefited from as a part of their free carry. Add on the cash payments for backcosts and RKH received $1bn. Of course RKH have to pay their tax liability for receiving the proceeds of all that investment from the farmout. Navitas have slotted in as the new operator on the back of all the spend, which for them is fortuitous. BOR have yet to receive a penny from any of their farmout. There are huge amounts of money to be agreed and probably why it's taking so long. Hence a take out is probably more cost effective given BOR low Mcap.

RKH - Benefits from over US$1bn drilling and project development spend.
So we can see that BOR have yet to collect proceeds from their farmout, just as RKH has done.
