F17, The fundamentals of this business, i've always believed & still believe are superb. The problem here is there are too few updates & without these the fundamentals are irrelevant. The markets need to understand how a company is performing or the SP will be in permanent stagnation. There any many buying opportunities out there at the moment however NEX is clearly not being perceived as one because noone knows what's happening except those of us who've taken the time to research the business. I still have faith in the business & was going to buy a couple extra 000 today but will hold the cash & maybe day trade on boohoo tomorrow LOL. Without the interims on Thursday this share will undoubtedly be going back down further sadly!

Without any interims, this share is going on a downward spiral. wish i'd flogged @170 now!

can't really see it dipping right back down to the teens level but the 130s are possible. Hope i'm wrong & it shoots up again this week but with this 5hitshow of a government in charge i wouldn't rule anything out on any of these shares!

I agree, i don't think we'll now be hearing anything until at least new CEO is in post (1st Nov i believe) I think they've substituted what was on their website for the trading statement a few weeks back. Hope i'm wrong though as unfortunately without updates i can see this sinking down again. Buying opportunity but a bit depressing nonetheless!

GOG is a better buy in my view at current prices & if it goes a bit lower i'll be putting some cash there. Just look at the dividend history on that one. A great buy at these types of levels for a long hold i think!

Teddy, I've looked closely @SGC & was very nearly clicking buy at 32p couple weeks back. That would've been a decent punt in hindsight but i would've sold for a short term gain. I'm put off by the long term trend here. Look at the 5-10 year charts. Something amiss i think. I'm sure it's a worthwhile punt but more upside with NEX & a better track record in my view!

mind i have a short memory so not topping up quite yet. Did that back in August & it fell down to 111 LOL!

Does anyone know if we're getting interims on 22nd as was originally scheduled? the update in Sept while welcome hasn't really given enough detail. They need to produce some figures if this share is going to rise anything. Lack of updates is a bugbear i have with this share. Ne'er mind, as said by others this is top up opportunity for me. Easy money if you can hold out for a little while!

Been away for few days & only looked at share prices again this morning. Can't believe how much this has twonked. I'm in here for long hold with target @250ish which it will reach at some time in the not too distant future i'm confident of that! i'll be in 2 minds though next time we get a good spike up whether to sell & buy back on a dip. This seems to be the name of the game since covid. It's pointless holding & best to start bagging the profits i think as this silly carousel is gonna go on for quite a few months yet i think!

Yes, PATT, people flipping for their 10,20, 30% quick profits should look at the last few months charts. NEX was 200+ for whole of April May & June, & is now in a far stronger position. Selling this below 200 is bizarre!

Seen a few posts here referrring to SGC, & i'm not going to knock the share as i was going to get myself a small amount when they dipped to 32p couple weeks ago. Would have turned out to be a nice flip of 20-30%. but that is what it seems to me is what it is. A big gamble. I'm really put off by the 5-10 year charts. (downward trajectory for last few years). I think it's the same with shares like RR/ Cine. They are casino gambles that is all. I'm kickin myself for not throwing a few grand at RR last Friday. But, like with anyone who did get them. they would have flipped them already. The outlook & fundamentals just aren't there. Cine, i posted on ere while back was it worth taking a chance at 39p? i could've flipped for quick 10 % after but look what's now happened. In contrast NEX is a solid, fundamentally sound company. I'll stick with this one!

Very pleasing week, only 5p off my last Friday projection of 180 but i'll live with that LOL. I'm really very surprised to see posts where people are pulling some funds out of here to invest elsewhere. Really not a good idea guys especially hearing what's being bought in place of this solid little number. Each to their own i guess but IanB hits the nail on the head: Never sell a rising stock! it's just pure crazy. The headroom that is in this share is amazing. Today's price is still chickenfeed yet & i'm convinced those who bail out for a quick flip profit may really look back later & realise what a bad mistake they made. Those of us who got in & the 150s, 140s & watched the dips down to 111 are now enjoying the fruits of that pain. For me i'm now just gonna sit back & watch this go up & intraday dips i don't really care about because this share will be where it belongs eventually regardless of lockdowns or any other nonsense which comes our way. Treacle you don't know who's buying the shares. Could be shorters covering future positions or more likely market manipulators!

Teddy, i don't recall Anapa being invested here back then like we were & doesn't understand the way the MMs play this share!

It shot up to 360 in June for the same reason the TERP was propped at 130 until PIs taken up rights. Same reason it was propped at 220 pre 14th Sept. Same reason PIs couldn't trade rights today. SP doubled in few weeks? far more probable SP halved in few weeks!

Nice steady little rise. Enough to keep the tuppence/thrupence dipwhingers happy & not too big that it tanks back again tomoz. My Friday 180 target is looking achievable. Probably see a couple names drop away here taking profits tomorrow too. Short term madness in my view but each to their own!
