John Deere, yep, i was thinking that myself. I got in here last week @118 & if someone told me on Monday i'd be green now, i'd have laughed. But i'm in positive but yes a little disappointed. This type of price action is a good leveller though. I been caught out & had my fingers burnt before jumping in on what looks to good to be true. Much more cautious now. Stick with good solid income earning companies. Always come good in my experience!

& eventually they'll find an easier target than PFC & leave us alone!

i agree Noggers, but they're all run by BoJo's mates so we gotta put up with them.

People who are easily spooked/stressed by all this stuff or get too taken in by the hype need to question whether they should be involved in this stuff. I've seen it all end in tears with some before. Only invest what you can afford to lose. Do the research. The fundamentals will almost always come good in the end. Don't panic. PFC is a great value stock at the moment. Just sit tight & lock it away in a drawer for a few weeks/months! GLA

i used to get so wound up & infuriated by shorting activity on stocks. Now i just use it to my advantage. Pick up shares on the cheap & make a few quid!

oil price is still $55+ i don't think the OP is really impacting the SP @the moment. The SP was 370 last June when OP was $40pb. General negative sentiment is holding this back @the moment but expect to see a steady rise into results day then boom!

Carllapos, i was in Barc @91p. Unfortunately i bailed out way too early & only made 20 % on that one. Riding the waves on Petrofac @the moment & got big holding in BP which i expect to soar on results next week. Will be in here when the time is right!

Petrofac up over 10% today luvly jubbly. 20% coming here on Tuesday. Good week ahead!

Reality is it's far more risky going short on a share than long. Personally not my cuppa tea i try to just stick to buy as low as poss, sell as high as poss. More straightforward!

i think anyone who's been involved in this for even a short time soon cops on that you can't fight the algo's. Best just to try & work out what the game is & pick up the scraps!

they might opt for a placing. Sometimes a preferred option. Means shareholders don't have to stump up new funds but increased dilution. Either way i don't think the banks will say good stuff, carry on as you are!

Carllapos, i know my posts are negative & people can call me names, deramper whatever. I'm a bit long in the tooth with the share stuff to be that bothered. My stance is that i want to invest here, but it has to be viable. Currently it isn't. Once liquidity is in place i intend to buy a significant amount of these. I hope that CARD gets through this as i actually like the business & with the right focus from management could prove to be a good growth investment!

A lot of naivete here. This is not profitable. It has just made a £10m loss. It is verging on insolvency. It has not paid back £30m of debt. The reduced debt mentioned in the TU will be renegotiated lease arrangements. This will keep falling until the market knows it is viable as a going concern!
