Have to say this looks a very interesting prospect.
Given the crazy values attached to brand takeovers ( Casamigo Tequila , Aviation Gin etc ) this might be worth a flutter. Has its own Japanese Whisky Brand and Tequila.. definitely see potential.
One question though, how does one buy on the Aquis exchange? Can one use a normal UK stockbroker as with FTSE, AIM stocks etc?
Only recently listed so no trading history as yet.

As you are probably aware Volkswagen have a relationship with BP and launching JVs in U.K. (via BP Pulse ) & Germany ( Aral ) to provide charging point infrastructure for fast charging networks to provide approx 100 miles basis 10 minutes of charging.
This is another smart move from BP as it moves towards a greener future.

Indeed. FYI, as a technical reference for the sector as a whole I follow the US Oil Services ETF ( ticker OIH ) . The 5 day RSI is oversold and this has been a fairly reliable indicator for me.
BP may well fall further with general sentiment but offers security moving forward. It’s one of the few stocks you can buy and hold and sleep at night. The general commodity strength ( refer to the CRB index ) Dollar weakness offers support to Oil prices, and even with today’s blip which may relate to the uptick in European Covid cases, markets always look forward.
Nothing is guaranteed though and I am in no way recommending other people trade as I do...

Ok, basis my previous comments this has now reached my buying level so adding to my long position.
Please understand I am not advising anyone else to do this!
Support at 310 could well break short term but I’m happy to hold and will add more on any further weakness.
My reasons for buying are as previously stated, the macro environment is supportive over the next two years at least.

All I know is that all I can lose now is another .60p , why would one sell is beyond me...

Yes, can see your point. Maybe one has to look at the surrounding infrastructure that is required to support the push for Electric Vehicles, i.e Charging Points and Battery technology which has implications for stuff like Nickel, Silver, Graphite and other rare earths...
Maybe this is easier than picking the Electric Vehicle Manufacturers as that to me seems a complete lottery with the Chinese entering the fray with an inherent cost advantage

Not posted for a while as got royally p....ed off with all of the nonsense on here re CGT etc. I’ve never seen anything like it.
Anyway back to BP....
- Well we finally broke the previous recent high of 310 and this by definition will now act as support.
- Please take a look at the CRB chart ( basket of commodities ) and as I’ve mentioned in the past the 3 year cycle low is firmly behind us and we are moving higher. Food prices are rising, Bonds are falling and Inflationary signals are everywhere.. just open your eyes to the sector rotation currently happening.
- What does all of this mean for Oil and BP? It’s all positive, right stock, right sector and a tailwind behind us.
I see 340 / 342 as the next technical hurdle and until then I am relaxed and don’t need to watch on a daily basis. If we fail to break 340 then I may take some profit off the table but this is a good long term play. I would be nervous if I was holding tech shares...
BP is cheap...

I’ve done the same and also for that smart arse TitanPlus, now have a total of 14 on filter which will no doubt increase.

Also had to laugh at the successful Mars landing of Perseverance, can we not sue the US Govt for use of the name...
Maybe it’s a good omen for us and Perseverance2 will be a success.

Correct, monthly expiration which is always 3rd Friday of the month, both in UK but less important and US.
-I for one will be looking to buy either tomorrow afternoon before UK close or Monday depending on overall market sentiment.
-This is a long term holding for me reference the expectation of higher commodity prices over the next 3 years and a return of inflation. ( look at the Bond market action to give you a clue....)
