suspect Suncor are questioning the terms of their Deal with additional consideration payments limited at $65bbl. What a difference a year makes !

Yep not looking too good with Nasdaq off 20% from ATH & S&P. 500 off 12%. So into Bear/ Correction territory. Oil is a major concern or lack of it, just depends if the US pull the plug.. ..if so expect problems ! Short holders here have been really gifted, but will no doubt use any further weakness to close off some positions. Overall best keep some powder dry as bargains are appearing, dependant upon your time horizons.

Suspect it’s just repeating the fact that no Inheritance Tax is paid on the valve of AIM held shares ( most qualify) provided you’ve held them for over 2 years. If not they’ll base the Tax on the valuation at Death and not when you can sell them. So just hope the Market doesn’t crash between death & completing probate ….not that the owner will be too worried albeit bit of a slap if all the money had been in BOO , as the Tax could have exceeded their current valve !

Suspect you’ll see some rather large delayed buys reported on CoP. Likely a few Shorts closing out…but who knows. Only problem is when you remove Shorts you’re left naked ! It’s a good game all this.

Seems the Mkt is awaiting on Biden’s decision whether or not to sanction Putin’s oil, and who will MBS back. We know he’s close to VP so without OPEC’s support to up supply, has Biden the bottle !

This Sector has moved into ‘risk off’ and sentiment won’t change until consumer habits are known within an inflationary cycle, now likely to hit 8% . Best move into commodities !

The Market is only being walked down currently, problem being this could now result in a sudden drop, when you won’t be looking at single digit losses. We’re now in completely unchartered territory.
