Can see this marching forwards again chasing previous ATH’s, very pleasing progress.

Credit to POLY for good and fairly comprehensive updates during this conflict and for organising an Investors web-cast that will have taken much Mgmt time. Contrast that to another miner that has practically kept its shareholders in the dark for 2 months, other than saying no Director has sold any shares or been subject to sanctions….marvellous ( suspect they have good reason to hide ! )

No way Russia can long term hang onto its ill gotten gains. This ain’t Crimea again given the open support NATO & the US are now showing. That recent $800m package Biden signed off…first shipment arriving within 48hrs, won’t be the last…Russia have a real fight on their hands once US Howitzers & Mi-17 Helicopters go on the offensive. Prepare for years of sanctions here, unless/ until the Kremlin see the light ! Thus the full impact on POLY is presently unknown.

If that’s true, then could present a problem given Poly has a Russian holding Company ( JSC Polymetal, Headquartered in St. Petersburg ) and it’s major Shareholders won’t want to be on the wrong side of Putin ! ….but leave others to research as I’m out of this.

Sharebel…anyone trading this stock currently is Gambling….they may feel they have visibility into the future but that’s pure guess work, no one has. Whilst reasonable expectations are this Company will survive, in what format and on what Trading Platform is yet unknown. The current SP hasn’t found this level by accident !

Not sure those trading this Stock could be defined a Investors ! It’s currently a pure Gambling play which admittedly is what many are happy to play with, and good luck to them. Reminds me watching nervous roulette players shuffling their chips between black /red as close to the ball dropping as the croupier would allow !

pulled final tranche out last Thursday…too many variables not within Company’s control. I prefer to watch my Portfolio steadily climb not jump about erratically !

Hup….there is no hatred ( your word ) of the Russia people only of their Leadership, indeed as they become to realise the true scale of this conflict that Putin has inflicted upon Ukraine it will be their collective decency that finally removes him, unless an assassin’s bullet gets him first !

Sanctions will only be eased on the removal of Putin, indeed would expect increased sanctions to be imposed to assist his removal. Best start saving for a rainy day as every Western Leader will want him out and most will accept the consequences that entails, as we learn to live without Russia !

I’m not sure I’d worry too much about Valuations at this time, we know the Company has much firepower. The burning question is can they maintain their LSE Listing for UK Investors, which is out of their hands, and articles like that appearing in the Times today don’t help. Plan for the worst and hope for the best is one strategy !

You have to feel sorry for the impact this will have on innocent POLY, for whilst they seem to have very capable management, they will be suffering collateral
damage from sanctions whose intent is to harm Russian interests, and could potentially even feature in later reparation costs ….years down the line !

No perceived risk of the Shares being delisted on MOEX…on the LSE there is still a risk they will be Delisted or the Company Restructured to escape a possible sanction ! Market would seem to place that risk as still fairly high ! Look at trading patterns and you’ll detect very few
significant trades going thro ie. one section is largely sitting on their hands !

Not surprised VZ is feeling emboldened he’s got the US/UK / Germany
( promising yesterday another 1Billion euros of military aid ) plus the rest of NATO on his side, having witnessed the ineptitude of the Russian military, so no the West won’t be asking him to negotiate any time soon, at least not until Putin’s stupidity has finally dawned on his crowd of ‘yes men’ and take him out.
We’re not spending all this money to lose are we . Just feel for the Ukraines who are taking all of this suffering on their own, but that’s on Putin .

These ‘tit for tat’ sanctions look set to be continued which could still an issue here. Operations solely in Russia / Kaz. with GB Inc. by way of a Jersey Nameplate won’t have gone unnoticed !

Interesting article in the Times today providing good analysis of the issues faced and funding / Bond deadlines. For those invested here it could be worth reading rather than relying upon some of the clearly uniformed opinions circulating ! GL.

Per the Times today …..”State-owned oil and gas producer China National Offshore Oil Corporation is preparing to exit its operations in Britain, Canada and the United States because of concerns that the assets could become subject to Western sanctions following Beijing’s refusal to condemn Russia's invasion of Ukraine, according to Reuters. The assets are said to include stakes in major fields in the North Sea”….wonder if AB wishes to take Operational Control of Golden Eagle !
