Seems pretty obvious that recent additional liquidity would temporarily hit the price ( hence sold a tranche last week ) , some don’t hang around long enough to worry what the underlying asset is involved in .

Agree and with this Mkt racing away today you don’t need spare money tied up….esp. given Avacta’s performance to date. Will add again next week but not in a rush.

Sold out long ago, when in 4 figures, but called into one of their shops today and surprised how busy the tills were together with a lack of ‘marked down’ stock. If that’s replicated elsewhere I could be tempted back in so wait the next update with interest.

A resilient set of figures given the times we live in when many others are highlighting inflationary pressures to mask poor management controls.
Will add on any SP slippage.

Problem comes from those obsessed in trying to make fast money without putting in any real effort or knowledge of the game. Guess that sums up quite a few !

Can’t get too excited until we hear from the Chancellor as to what amendments, if any, to the EPL are to be made. Latest BP quarterly results not helping our cause so uplifts in percentage & duration now quite probable to satisfy the baying illiterate mob !

Not panicking in the slightest, but there again I don’t trade this share ( 7 figure holding & growing ). Just need arrival of Dividends and sentiment will change. My sympathy goes to those who haven’t experienced a negative equity situation before !

I now regard this Share as a useful anchor, always sitting on the seabed. With a Portfolio of 17 Holdings only three today are down, but THG seems down everyday so a good reminder that not everything just does up. Anyway it’s Tax Credit is growing by the hour so not really complaining !

Yes the wealthy. As a naive youngster I once collected for a well known charity and chose the most expensive street in the neighbourhood to knock on doors. The level of abuse I encountered was alarming plus it was raining heavily at the time so was well impressed !

Wouldn’t be too concerned for Lord Allen seeing he amassed a £9.4m pension pot from ITV , which they subsequently tried to claw back. His purchase here is probably in an attempt to secure a longer term tenure, pays well and certainly doesn’t take up much of his time !

The squeeze on discretionary spending has yet to show itself so this is probably one of the last places you’d currently invest in. Shame as always a favourite ‘lunch time’ haunt….no more as WFH & drink courtesy of Supermarket !

I’ve a second-hand Defibrillator if any Traders ( or those with Mortgages ! )out there feel they may need one for as a very LTH, it’s surplus to requirements. Seems this Market is largely controlled by the nervous and impatient playing with others money and at this rate most will soon be gone !

Results slightly ahead of some analysts predictions but little point in predicting SP movements in this volatile Market just need to give it several months and allow panicking Traders to exit. Xmas isn’t cancelled , enjoy !

Seems like many the BoE were caught off guard which is slightly surprising given the number of hints Ms Truss gave to her Tory Membership, and haven’t they been handsomely rewarded including seeing their overseas homes rise in valve against Sterling and a VAT exemption whenever returning home to gloat. The BoE will now be forced to be more proactive, which for anyone owing money won’t be pleasant !
