Trouble is there are only so many panic’s you can take advantage of, before you start running out of cash, and I’m nearly there !. The next panic may be slightly bigger when Putin dislikes his new ‘Russian’ seized territories being attacked but hey ho, we still have our freedoms and a pro Fossil Fuel Chancellor so all’s currently good, and as said before Enq. is delivering cash daily !

Next couple of weeks could be tough. Dow’s just fallen into Bear territory and the Yanks predicting a collapse in the Pound, so their msge is to short the UK . Best
find something else to do and enjoy your freedom. Have recently taken a small holding here which is going nowhere….literally ! GLA.

Why buy your own Company Shares when you get gifted them under an Employee Inventive Plan. Best take your salary and spend it on something worthwhile !

Markets are being walked down so I’ve no rush to buy in again yet as suspect patience will be rewarded, not that I’m expecting it to reach previous purchase price of 265p albeit would be nice !

Also LA ain’t a Trader with this holding. His time horizon will be several years out so will hardly be bothered. Suspect he’ll be in positive territory by the time he moves on.

Seems they’ve got themselves into a bit of a vice here. The Banks won’t have been too impressed to see Next walk, which won’t help those covenant waiver talks and do they really want to go for an equity raise at this level. With most potential White Knights having their own problems not sure where the good news will come from. Thankfully not involved.

That could be well timed as the Dow Futures looked positive earlier, so hopefully we’ll hold the 50’s as a base for tomorrow. GL.

Could be a good day to top up tomorrow if Dow continues its fall into the close…all IMO and only play with what you can afford to lose !

Clearly most US Fund Managers don’t do the shopping, given August’s Hot Inflation report across there has surprised them somewhat !.

Still maintain we’ll see a Relief Rally, as whilst expect results will reflect what we all know about the economic environment and thus somewhat depressed, I just don’t see armageddon, not given the type and range of product we are involved with. Markets never like silence and the unknown so raising the curtain should settle some nerves. Just needs MM & CA to add better clarity of vision moving forwards and all’s to play for.

Wonder how many Shareholders here are on Anti-depressants ….perhaps a new line MM could do, albeit there’s no sign he’s that interested anymore. Thursday can’t come soon enough and I’ve held less than two weeks !

Let’s hope Lord Allen is equally positive next week in what he’s actually been doing since joining . Just warm words solely about future plans won’t now cut it. Any whiff of Bullsh** and he quickly realise how MM felt following his last Capital Markets day !

The Market should by now be getting a whiff of the strength and direction the Results are in….a stagnant SP probably tells us already !

If you can justify a Mkt Cap of £2.5bn on those results, well good luck.

Given the wall of depressing news the Media so love to spread you’ll never get mention of someone actually investing, and having faith in a UK Co., getting beyond a BB. All you’ll get today is how the Pound is at a 37yr low to the Dollar !

Personally see a pure Relief Rally on Results even if numbers have slipped a little , although that may quickly be sold into. Don’t see MM having enthused much Shareholder Loyalty of late, more a case of many not wishing to crystallise significant loses. Just hope Lord Allen sets out a clear vision that more can buy into.

Agree it’s fairly clear from todays PMQ’s that the new PM & her Chancellor are against this Tax, so we can now assume it will not be made any more punitive , as requested by the Opposition Party, and indeed may be ‘watered down’ or given greater clarity if not withdrawn altogether. Personally not expecting the latter but very happy to be proved wrong.

Guess until clarity over where that £100bn will come from ( presume someone knows ) we shall remain ‘billy no mates ‘.
