Could be the Market doesn’t believe SMS will achieve his 25% net revenue growth target whilst freezing employee hiring within its Content Practice plus knowing their dominant position in the Digital Media space is exactly where increasing pressures are building. Early days but any slippage on Revenue numbers would likely be punished again. Difficult one to call if your a Trader.

Ha, could be AB has recently reminded himself that the Group's approved Business Plan still uses oil price assumptions of $75.0/bbl for 2022 and $70.0/bbl for 2023 !

Fundamentals take a back seat once Sentiment takes a turn at the wheel. Provided HY Results don’t spring any more surprises and they’re able to extract the promised growth then a change of driver should happen. Suspect little may happen until then.

See the Times today isn’t that supportive, with such comments as “ on Thursday, when the Company announced the hiring freeze, there were still 591 jobs available on Media.Monk’s website “ and this little snippet “not taking into account any more acquisitions, there will be a further 84 million shares dished out to founders of Companies, he (Sorrell) has bought, by 2023 - meaning further dilution for existing shareholders “. Could almost have been written by a WPP Director !

@ Caravan . Yes Sir MS. doesn’t have age on his side, so no surprise he leapt out the box in a hurry only to suffer indigestion later, which most likely could have been avoided under less pace. This Market can be quite brutal when it detects changing behaviours so a little caution here may be warranted ( check out RBC Capital Markets analysis on forward lowering Digital Ad.spend ).

Question is will the latest drop in Global Ad. Revenue revealed by the likes of Twitter, & Snap overnight, now subdue enthusiasm in this Sector. See the Company has maintained its 25% net revenue growth target which it needs to achieve otherwise can see a few difficulties ahead. Will be interesting to see if any additional commentary on this number is provided in HY Results in Sept. One to watch with interest .

Well any Foreign Company looking to exit Russia is now a distressed seller, given what legislation the Duma are seeking to force thro, so time is of the essence before matters may take a turn for the worse.

At least Vitaly Nesis gave a very interesting insight as to how difficult the collective Sanctions now impacting upon all those Companies caught up in Russia has become, and somewhat different to what many would have you believe. Best if you have a balanced portfolio here !

Yes there has been slow but steady support over several weeks now, long may it continue. May take some time to revisit the ATH but happy to wait as confident we’ll get there .

As indicated, Russian counter sanctions against unfriendly States (UK) and foreign companies are now fairly wide reaching so best just view Russia as one big lobster pot and equally as difficult to climb out of. Thankfully POLY has more than one string to its bow so we won’t starve, indeed may put on a little more weight yet !

Yes what’s with this AGM’s - 9.00 am London start …..they’ve never been in a rush before. Surely they can’t be looking to dissuade disgruntled shareholders from turning up and asking a few awkward questions !

So for all Alok’s passion, if he feels others aren’t supportive he threatens to resign thus allowing others a free pass, marvellous. He may of course now realised 96% of voters just aren’t that bothered. Could have told him long ago .
