Personally pay no attention to these daily gyrations. We know the physical market remains robust yet the financial speculators who dominant like to have something to worry about, the strengthening dollar and a potential 1% Fed. Rate rise later this month, has currently sent them overboard. They’ll get back on board later. Yes would help if the UK saw the damage done over its WF tax ( and understood hedging strategies ) but the Industry doesn’t seem to have put up much of a fight.

Not sure it’s worth Mgmt buying in the Market when they merely get granted options at attractive exercise prices under that Deferred Bonus Plan of theirs, I personally wouldn’t !

I see Ben van Beurden, Shell’s CEO again warned today. "We will all face very significant escalation in energy prices this year “ at the Oxford Aurora Energy Conference. No doubt with a very large grin on his face !

A good average. Markets are nervous and these SP swings are excessive but Brent is currently behaving nicely and all this chatter of impending Demand weakness, is twaddle. The media try and justify daily trading swings and alternate between extreme views, so best ignored. Just have courage of your own research and convictions. Likewise I’ve taken the gift and added significantly over the last few days, but not to trade, I’m a hoarder !

Interestingly the new Chancellor didn’t previously sound that enamoured with Sunak’s WF tax . This being one recent comment “Mr Zahawi spoke about the importance of investment from oil and gas producers, adding: “If you apply a windfall tax, they will probably have to reduce or take away their dividend. Who receives the dividend? Pensioners through their pension funds.” . Anyway he can’t surely be any worse than his predecessor.

Not exactly comforting, but those 130,000,000 of outstanding Director Share Options may never be exercised at this rate ! ( weighted average exercise price 0.6 of a penny)

also slightly worrying when you see Directors taking advantage having paid themselves well over £600,000 in 2021 and gifted themselves another 130m Share Options ( & Warrants ) that will likely be cashed in later this year. Talk about bleeding a Company dry !

Before jumping back in probably best ask yourself one simple question, ie: will Rosnedra ( State Registry of Subsoil Mining Licences ) be happy seeing a ultimate foreign entity (UK) being paid Millions, should the transfer of Company ownership holding one of their Licences, unlock that payment. Currently Russia will view the UK as a Hostile State, similar to their view of Ukraine. Imagine if EUA were Incorporated in UKR, what chance of a positive outcome and that’s the quandary !

Folio. Correct, but you need to look at Beneficial Ownership structure, otherwise how do you expect to receive any sale proceeds. As an example the Monchetundra Licence was issued to Terskaya Gornaya Kompany, which is Eurasia's 80% owned subsidiary (think we know who holds the other 20% ). So all that is adding to the complexity.

Don’t exclude the impact that Russian Sanctions may also now have. Any Asset Sale involving transfer of Sub-Soil Licence(s) first needs Federal approval. Given latest approved draft legislation (that adds to the existing law that prevent direct sale or transfer of Licence rights) , is targeted at excluding foreign entities from benefiting from such activities, then EUA may need to reappraise their existing strategy. Being on a GB Share Register is currently like waving a red flag to a sore Russian bull so don’r expect any favours from them !

Based upon a 12/18 month horizon I put the chance of seeing this low a SP again as rather slim, hence have bought another tranche this am. How Day Traders make any money in this irrational Market baffles me !
