On 23/3 Results, AB needs to provide a specific timetable to that comment “ shareholders are becoming an increasingly important consideration for our capital allocation decisions”, otherwise for many patience will be exhausted.

Obviously their existing generous Salary and Benefit packages weren’t considered a good enough incentive for them to do their best all day and stay the course, hence a new Growth Plan is dreamed up to get them motivated. Hope not too many Public Sector employees know about this !

Politicians follow the Publics mood and when you see headlines like “Centrica sees profits soar as energy bills rise” there is more chance of the thumbscrews being turned further up, than down. We’ll just have to ‘suck it up’ !

Well Shareholders can kiss goodbye to any Dividends with Management taking all the profits, who will no doubt reset those Benchmarks once additional ‘external factors’ again get in the way of the trough. Quite brilliant really unless you’re a shareholder !

Well they’ll already stated they expect these additional cohorts to be completed during the first half of 2023, so must assume they see no hurdles in the way.

Why apologise, always happy to read considered negatives that may balance an investment. No question EPL has done damage & that’s for AB to address, but his immediate concern will also hopefully be on rewarding Shareholders and the current SP is a Buyback gift . Also see the current POO in a good place with little sign of Demand falling off a cliff any time soon !

Well the wider Market is not yet fully buying into the story here so could be a bumpy ride if the SD doesn’t provide short term support. At least it may shake a few out.

You can’t withhold price sensitive information anyway. There is enough to discuss already for those new to the story so not expecting anything new outside of Clinical Data which will be delivered as and when, and not to a specific audience.

Most Green evangelists preach from their privileged lives in Europe having already benefited from an Industrial Revolution. Such rhetoric doesn’t wash with those involved within say, the huge Coal production mines in Australia / Hardwood logging in S. America / or indeed OPEC. They know where forward global commodity demand is coming from, and it ain’t led by Europe, We’re in a good place.

The Investment Allowance would suggest the Government have at least some interest in the NS as being part of an Energy Security plan. Unfortunately that doesn’t seem Labours position who were gifted the ‘Energy Profits Levy’ label, not a ‘Windfall Tax’ which would suggest it’s temporary being based on unique circumstances. I view it as here to last, and will likely mirror the Norwegian Rate eg 78%, so a 38% EPL (on top of the existing 40% tax level ) looks baked in, and Labour would likely then scrap the Investment Allowance. Yes a Oil Price floor would help but can’t see the Treasury adding further complication and Revenue uncertainty into already flawed legislation, that also ignores the Industry Hedging requirements. Thankfully we supply a Product the Planet will eventually be sucked dry of .
