Seems this is more a case of ‘wishful thinking’ by the media, I don’t see this Chancellor being supportive of our industry having already twisted the screw up from 25%, and done without huge outcry.

Those desperate for better communications just need to be mindful that not all news will be viewed as positive, its far easier to knock something down than rebuild it . Some Companies restrict themselves to only releasing Market Sensitive info. for good reason, having faith in the final outcome. Unfortunately in this day and age of instant news patience is in short supply, and none existent if your a Trader !

Why not genuine as no inside info declared, unless you’ve mistakenly been taken in by others believing they knew differently. Nothing moves fast here.

The Market is pretty nervous right now, not helped by the thought of another banking crisis / shrinkage in credit availability etc. etc , all of which will just drag equity prices down. At some point buyers en masse will return when clear bargains are to be had…..I,m waiting.

Seems history is repeating itself…. political instability, economic and social problems, and weakening of its borders….3 main reasons why the Roman Empire collapsed . Lucky they didn’t have Oil Reserves otherwise their demise would have happened quicker !

Don’t imagine AS is the least bit concerned about daily fluctuations in his own wealth, cushioned of course by a £286k salary , as he is building a something special , albeit it may feel like that’s a mushroom shed currently !

Personally awaiting the SP to drop into double figures before adding….with no news, I may be lucky within the next few weeks . Traders can be your friends at times.

Not sure if highlighted earlier ( as can’t be asked to scroll thro the dross ) but some will likely have already seen that nice ‘shot in the arm’ for Puretech Health ( clinical-stage biotherapeutic co ) this am , selling off some of its Royalty Interests , worth up to $500m….SP reaction slightly muted, but another sign of the money out there in this Sector, if you have patience.

Probably those Institutions who bought shedloads of Credit Suisse bonds without looking at the small print, only to realise they could quickly & legitimately become worthless…..but no worries wasn’t their personal money !

You invest in a Company ‘warts an all’ . Yes the comms could be better, but the Directors probably feel they’ve already achieved much with their SD, and further updates will only replicate further spikes and falls. You just won’t get price stability at this stage in their development. Thus the Directors will likely feel why bother, until new material info forces disclosure. I’m happy to wait in the dark.

At least one positive being the Company isn’t looking for an equity raise anytime soon, otherwise AS would be pumping out news on a daily basis. Just need to accept that us Shareholders aren’t important right now, nor the SP, as Directors are fairly well remunerated every month !

You could apply this headline to the vast majority of Shares listed, this could easily fall much further without positive updates, as Traders require volatility and unfortunately this share clearly has attracted them. Not good if you need to cash in anytime soon but for investors , daily SP movements are fairly academic.

Millibands garbage “ free rein to enjoy massive windfall profits/ drilling concessions are effectively licences to print money “ . No doubt she’ll be doing the Media rounds soon. I’ll watch from the TV within the local Food Bank !

Question is how far down the garden path are we walked until AGM time generally held in June, as suspect AS isn’t that bothered about weekly SP movements knowing what he’s onto !

Guess you can’t expect $17bn of CS Bonds to suddenly become worthless not to ripple a few nerves….plenty of similar will likely now look to be offloaded !

Trying to remain positive it could be AB was ‘tipped the wink’ that the Finance Bill will make comment about the introduction of a Floor, hence the Results push back, but given my positivity doesn’t extend to the Chancellor, I’d go for a 60p Floor , but braced for zilch !

Too much money now hedging the downside so likely expect more amusement next week as that reported $16bn hedged against European Bank stocks alone , starts to pull. What was the old CU’s Ad. slogan…don’t make a drama out of a crisis !

Note the Finance Bill gets published 23rd March, when any amendments to the EPL should be known, and also our fate !

Risks. Not knowing if there will be “ a material change in our asset values “ was never going to go down well . Another dark cloud that first needs to dissipate but that’s the good thing about litigation, it teaches patience !
