Most day traders lose money.

Personally I trade on positive momentum and hold for a year, that's worked very well for me for many years.

Just bored of lazy comments that state every time a share goes down it's due to MMs.

NH, you still haven't explained why out of 2,000 stocks you only comment on 2 of them.

Absolute nonsense, MMs have very little influence on FTSE 250 stocks with a market cap of £2b.

You would hope they would spend some of their massive charges to help us do this but unfortunately not, we have to do it ourselves.

Poor old NH is still trying to get to grips with with how the internal combustion engine works.

I've just sold GGP, made a very nice profit but the momentum is now negative.

That BB is awful, when it goes up it's a fantastic investment, when it goes down it's them pesky MMs. If you sell you are a nasty DERAMPER.

So why are dividends so important to you.

I would rather the company invests in growing the company rather than paying cash back.

It may pay good dividends but the share price has gone nowhere in years, it was higher last century.

You do realise Neil that there are 1,946 stocks on the LSE but you only research 2 of them. Have you not heard of the benefits of a diversified portfolio ?

Instead of relying on dividends, why not sell a small proportion of your shares instead?

I really don't why NH is on this board. He obviously isn't invested so why does he waste his time (and ours).

5 minutes to queue, 5 minutes to sign in, 10 minutes wait for my pint, a cold northerly wind. I don't think I'll be back until things are back to normal, whenever that will be.

I had a flutter on this a year ago and made a nice 139% profit. COVID looks like it's on it's way out now so I'll bank the profit. Too much risk with this AIM malarkey.

I wouldn't take any notice of Motley Fool, they are a bunch of crooks. However I have bought HMSO based on recent positive momentum.

Well done PHOENIXRISING but the fact it has gone up 263% in 6 years doesn't mean it will go up in the future. It had actually fallen 70% in the previous 7 years. It was higher in 2008 than it is now so it shows how fortunes can wain.

Yep, can't believe all the coverage about him. He had no meaning to my life at all, like the rest of the royal family, a waste of taxpayers money.

I have also sold after holding for a year and making a very nice 57% profit. The positive momentum seems to have stopped.

I have now sold this after holding for 12 months. I have made 3% which is better than sticking it in the bank and about the same as the FTSE. It would have probably been good insurance if the market had continued to fall.

HEDGED, you posted a lot of mixed messages so you could probably quote any that would support the price rising or falling.

You never mentioned when you bought or sold so I'm very sceptical about your claim that "I've made huge gains here" .

You also claim that you have made more money than me. Unless you have access to my financial records how do you know that?

Such claims remove any credibility that you may have had.
