Next post at 12 ish today I went back in on the UJ to take a risk on the non farms .I was at £10 a pip .I hit the jackpot and tried to close IG of course wouldnt let me ..it dropped from a 3 figure sum to under £ 20 .I was gutted !!! So I've now got a new broker ...

Hi Task I never risk more than 2% of my account .Sp depending on the ATR and the number of trades i open it varies . If they are overnighters it's no more than £1 a pip but as I often run 3 or 4 trades at once on two usually 3 platforms with big stops . it can be quite significant if they all go wrong.. If I am scalping I'll go up to £10 a pip as long as it's within my 2 % but much tighter stops and only one trade a a time .

Yes I know they were spot on . I had just added to UJ short as well , walked away ....Your get a bit of news the algos kick in and off it goes ...I need to stay away now for a few hours or I'll end up taking a stupid trade.

Hi Task not much joy my end at all i went for a mini short on the Dow last night but got stopped out around midnight on
the spikes... misery this morning got totally blown out of the water on my centiman short on takeover news and at £15 a point that hurt.. Mixed feeling as i was basically running a hedge as i am also long in real time in my P/F but it didn't get any where near a price i could sell it at.. I am current running scalps short on lloyds on the 2 min but haven't got much to show for it so far . Well done on your wins Task. I might get some sun and come back for the Dow bell

Hi Task I cant find any of my swings trades tonight ............ the somewhat unusual big moves this afternoon has unsettled the market and im not sure what its going to do next................ I am going to wait until tomorrow now before i look again

Thanks Task ....also picked up a short on the Nasdax and US oil ....just small scalps but all in the bag............ Task..... that Dax drop beyond normal I believe.. The whole market went into a spasm after Trumps coments then some US negative figures draged it further . I am resting up for an hour ...back on later

Just bought back into lgen picked up 50 odd free shares.... ( must try to repeat that again this month)
