RE: Well done ......5 Dec 2019 12:31
HI Task it looks like you have been busy and congrats on making some money in this weird week its been..
Brokers Oanda has been ok but iv never scalped on it or tried to close during volatile times so cant really comment on execution speeds . The spreads aren't brilliant but fine for long term trades. It seem reliable enough and the demos are for life, their standard platforms uses trading view charts...
Ive only used their MT4 but i guess i need to test it a bit more during volatile times, plus as its all in US dollars that confuses me a bit with all the unit sizes, mini, micros lots etc, ( Doh old age creeping on)
Markets.com ( markets x) very safe as it belongs to every financial organisation going that important to me if i am putting my money there..
Had a quick scan, ditto their normal platform uses trading view charts with tools.
Ive downloaded the MT4 and the spreads are fine i haven't really had time to test it yet...... but !!!!!!! to my astonishment the number of instruments on MT4 is astonishing.
To my joy they have dozens and dozens of shares you can trade on MT4 ... lots of US shares but also a good selection of UK shares............ Imaging putting a bunch of indicators on shares on a MT4 platform ... I am going to have some fun doing that and Lloyds is going to be my first experiment ill get back to you ....
Trading the GU over night is very brave of you Task trading the GU at all is very brave as it often just ranges.
However its exceptional bullish right now so i wouldn't short it .
I put a short on N cad last night and closed it out in a loss and only to see if i had left it alone it would have been well and truly in profit... Ps my overnight- ers are supposed to for 24 hrs until the following evening, that is why i run two separate trades i try to close one in profit then leave the other to run, I am trying to catch a long term trend.
