The old issue of mine as raised its head again DMA's on New York time frame and London time frame ..

I tried to forget all about it.but!!................... that oil short i was telling you about .

I looked on IG MT4 and thought US oil had one more drop, down to the 200 DMA then probably bounce. It didn't do that it didn't get there but it did get there on on Oanda perfectly in fact. both prices were the same but not the DMA 's

The reality is we are playing on two different playing fields and the US one is much more accurate. from now on i will be using their charts to analyse all comods and F/X but use English brokers to trade. Ill run tests indices and report back

I cant figure Ricardo at all, that type of movement is most unusual unless something unknown to us is driving it.

Its not near ex divi and most of the buys are automatics, virtually no ordinary's.

I personally would just steer clear of it unless you can find out whats driving it. maybe there is some news coming up that we dont know about.. Its a mystery

Trading F/X at the moment is very difficult the $EVZ is below 5 so not enough volatility to get my swings. So i am staying out for F/ X now.
I will trade oil, metals, and spread bets on indices and shares.

Plus my own P/F .
I put a wad into Regional REIT today they pay a 7% yield and income is always good ( you probably know that REIT have to pay 90 % of profits as dividends) . Ive noticed since the election they have started to move a bit a well particularly this one.

I am trying to get back int o MYI and had been hoping for £1200 but not happened yet also trying to get back into DUKE but again not happening.
I tried to trade some MBH as it shot up again the other day but the spread makes it very difficult.

Nothing much is happening for me i am having to exert that horrible word called patience.

I got a few quid out of a oil short the other day my NZD Chf made a small loss but just closed a nice short on itv ( sorry hot)

Yes Doms a bit risky and in truth i should have waited but i know a lot of traders like to short Dom early. .. ill hang on in there for a while...

I tried a physical hedge on my trades on the non farms going long with stops.

It gets very hectic ive already got my shorts so i set up longs with stops. I did ok on the GU as i got positions to close but couldn't get fills on my shorts so i am back to square one .. Not heard from Levis for a while ill take a look at lloyds

Task overnight- ers not brilliant i am still in them all at a loss but i closed one position on AU in a profit last night and one GU s in a profit this morning ( you know the way i split things up across platforms in the hope of getting a runner ) ...

Now getting a bit anxious for the 1350 hrs non farm payrolls . I might have to close out in a loss before that funndie.

Task try looking at low volume shares on the monthly it can give you a helicopter view of things.

Hello Hot good to see you "Happy new Year" Indices its hard to say except you are right about the ftse being the laggard.
The only thing we need to worry about is being short when they come down.

Talking of Ftse I think there will be some profit taking tomorrow On another subject my MBH is back where it was the other day.......... Its gone back up again its like the drop never happened ( all very odd)

Morning GS, I see you are still in the playground, you have been on the roundabout and that didn't get you any where.

So currently you are still on the see saw and having a good time, next you might go on the swing and that can be fun but just be careful not to go on the slide! These playgrounds are fraught with dangers for us traders.
