Task had some positions running today but i was out and got hit quite badly with the bass cut volatility spikes got my huge stops hit and more re slippage .... ce la vie

Hi GS, Levis, Hot, MattheB, Task, and all some great post of late.......... ... It seems to me that what ever you do with shares its very hard to get it right for very long .. even in normal circumstances a share can drop 20% on a tiny bit of bad news...

I sold every thing in my P/F that was in profit today just before the Dow bell...... (which wasn't a lot to be honest)

I see my legal land general are taking a real kicking right now. My only hope for my P/F is if the dividends keep coming

Hi guys a lot of catastrophising going on out there.... Any body would think that world war three had broken out . The media are defiantly scaremongering. The media are only interested in money .. the scarier the headline the more people read it and the more advertising revenue they get.
The media always do it, and always will, its what they do.

The problem is people believe it and it starts to panic people. The media repeat the manta often enough and folk start to believe it.... ( look how much purchase they got out of Brexit debacle they love negativity)

We have had some very serious flu epidemics in the past which has killed a lot of people but a the internet hadn't been invented so it didn't get publicised so much.. ...Plus remember we haven't got a vaccine for flu. We only have the flu jab which is based on algos from the past and guesses for the future. .......... the world carries on

DIVI ..............It goes EX div tomorrow so its a good day to buy to get the Divi. and there is only one divi a year. ( so equates to a discount)

However there is some consensus that some of the smaller airlines will fall by the wayside re the Corono / V......... Thomas Cooks gone, Flybe on gov loan is flying by its pants and a few more out there operating on a wing and a prayer and at some point they may have to give up the ghost. So maybe the bigger airlines will pick up the slack then in time they will thrive. ( hopefully)

Hi Task i ran a mini hedge on the S&P 500 . Had to set it and leave it small pip amount didn't want to be worrying about it whilst on holiday but it ended up at a small loss
