Markets gone erratic at the NY bell, hope you got a decent retrace on your Dow . I went short on gold earlier and it jumped all over the place. Picked up a few point on 5 min dax short and 5 min AUD JPY short but not really getting anywhere so stuck in gold short for now and thinking a down town coffee is best bet. Imm out of here

Hi Task ive been out all day but recently got on......... Dax still hovering but holding its own. I dont know if you got out or not?
I picked up a few pips on the S and P 500 but lost it again on a rash trade on silver

Hard luck being stuck in over the weekend Task......Yep I can't believe that Dow.... It's the positively of the Americans .It's astonishing it just keeps on going up... We could do with Ftse acting have as bullish ..ditto weekend and enjoying the JD

Hi Task yes that link would be useful. Yes had a stop ok but I normally run each trade on 3 platforms.. This is for scaling out if a trend develops. So this time instead of being exposed at £3 across that gold short .I was exposed at £30 .. .Also I don't think I am fully conversant with the MT 4 platforms. My demos are in US dollars and my real two in £ both behave differently.

HI Task i am done for the day and done in............ All my trades went wrong . when every thing goes wrong i should just switch off the machine as i know i have become emotionally compromised. I tried to re address my negative balance and took a short on gold a £1 pip on IG mt4 and a £1 a pip on City index MT4 wandered off to make a cup of tea and when i got back my City index trade was massively in the red. It turns out there there minimum of £10 a point on that platform ( which i didn't realise) Anyway to cut a long story short i closed out at a big loss and i feel crap now . Again a familiar feeling that us traders often have. So i am closing down till next week .. really y glad you are fairing better

Hi Task thanks for your support and kind words, as you know trading profitably is not easy!! .... currently all my overnight- ers are going the wrong way... a familiar occurrence, so i will have to keep the faith and believe they will unpack as i have predicted. IQE short just gone into profit. Hope you are feeling better ........ Gl all

Hi Task yes ill be looking at other brokers again.. took a short the mega rise of the EUR EAD picked up 7 pips.

Task loosing track of it all USD CHF shorts all banked in profit. then i turned my attention to the Dax on your recommendation .. yes it does move very smoothly on the 5 min chart so ive been going long and short for a hour plus and also ran the Nasdaq at the same time. I was using micros so it doesnt amount to much but the 5 trades i did all came in at a profit my new and improved 5 min scalping system seems to be working well enough. Back later with my overnighters ... Ps well done on your dax trade

Hi GS yes good to see the cave busy again i got an email from Levis the other day ill try and get his backside back over here.. Cineworld is in the doldrums still seems to be unloved by the city for no obvious reasons. Task closed my overnight long on gold for 45 pips loss but also closed my overnight-er GBP USD short for 40 pips profit .. I am still holding three positions of usd chf short but will have to close them be fore the 1.30 usd PPi figures come out. Task you are doing exceptionally well keep it up ... just picked up nearly £100 on A cad it dropped like a stone at 12 30 on employment change .. It would have been a lot more if IG mt4 hadn't refused my closing instruction, i tried to close it over ten times before they took it............ City index closed it straight away on their Mt4 also on thier web platform . any way i can go to bed happy got to be up early for swimming in the morning

Nice work on your Cad trade Task ... yep gold I went short then i keep thinking i am getting it wrong but the Bears came in at 1466 (resistance} and sold if off again. I am hoping for it go go down to the 200 dma at say 1410 but Powel testifies again to morrow and he always changes things. Lets see where the daily closes tonight.. I cant really help on the CAD it still to bouncy for me but good on you trading it trading it.............. I am off for an early doors and some pub grub.

Task dont take to much notice of me as i now more or less just trade the daily candle on F/X and i often wait for it to turn before I enter i am hoping for trends so it doesn't matter if i am a bit late getting in as i long as i have direction . GL
