Only a little surprised first thing this morning with the drop but it’s the market shaking out the last of the stops.

I’ve seen it before and been caught before. Somewhat frustrating though for rule-based investors, traders and the uninitiated.

Ok so at 7.30 Pm UK time we hear about the Fed interest rate decision. Most traders across the pond are hoping for a cut. As everything in the US affects us let’s hope they get what they want.

Then hopefully we should then be on a roll

Hold firm guys it’s just a matter of time. Close your platforms and walk away from your Pc, laptop, phones. Get out for a walk or drive or go Christmas shopping. Take a break M&S will rise again.

Thanks for your measured response, Willaim 123 and I agree with the content.

My main issue was I had an average buy in price of 26.9p Inc all costs and probably somewhat over exposed. I had a good fare few of them. After the results we heard nothing from the BOD just total silence. Day after day they dropped and dropped and eventually they fell off a cliff. My rule-based trading has protected me over the years and it hit the stop and sadly they were gone.

The other issue being the spread when they were up at 30 p the spread was far too wide to get a profitable sale. I am more than aware this is an AIM share and I accept everything that comes with that. My faith was in Tony brewer and I know this trade backwards. I guess at the end of the day its just not worked out for me and I now move on but I wish good luck to all.

This is just from FT news today and it says over 8 Billion - BP is in advanced talks to sell its Castrol lubricants unit to U.S. investor Stonepeak for over $8 billion, as the oil major accelerates a $20 billion asset disposal plan and considers retaining a minority stake. Cant find anything about Bank of America though

I sold a portion at 3.49 on Friday but holding the bulk looking for 380 and beyond

Disappointing to see this drop and baffling to see we are still being shorted.

Was out this morning and set a limit buy at 330 to get a better average it triggered at 8.09 hrs.. Disappointed to see how much it has dropped. Its not making sense

That’s really good news Forestgwmp as the shorts are closed, they have to buy back the same number of shares.

I’ve noticed sometimes they come up as delayed trades and you are right if Blackrock do the same, we will get some upward movement on the SP. It would be nice to get a short squeeze but that’s a fantasy on this stock but every short that is closed pushes us northwards.

Just now looking on IG markets on the client sentiment tab 93% long 7% short with 51 to 250 clients with open positions. I will be watching that every day to see how it changes

This is typical of the city to find the negatives and ignore the positives. Whilst the SP is at this price, I just see this as a buying opportunity. The positives far outweigh the negatives.

Positives like Sales Revenue has continued to increase in H2 by 7.4% with a new record month in October resulting in year to date increasing by 8.9%

Sales Revenue increasing by 13.3% in the year to the end of October.

The Group is still well on course to achieve its medium-term objectives including growth in both Sales Revenue and Profitability in 2026.

Construction has commenced to create the Newport Distribution Hub which will be operational at the end of Q2 2026.

The logistics infrastructure has been refined in both Likewise Floors and Valley Wholesale Carpets to provide increased capacity for 2026 and future years.

Plus, directors purchasing shares at just over 27 pence each.

No reason I could see. However and its a maybe, a lot of panic selling across all the markets today fearing NVIDIA results would not be good for the Q3 but they did come in strong showing growth and profitability hopefully calming the markets.

Now we can all breathe a sigh of relief
