What strategy should one take in the face of the biggest vote in 40 years? What will happen to Aim/Small stocks just BEFORE the referendum? Tempting to sell up & go to CASH, till the smoke clears...

How can any share lose more than 100% ? Do you read the drivel you write?? Blue chips will be safer to hold in the referendum than Aim/Small caps, & a selloff of those stocks is pretty much a given. If you've made money on ZYT, now is the time to cash in & run, IMO. The Brexit referendum effect will be 3 to 10 times greater than the effect of a General Election, IMO - it is after all a once in a lifetime event. A lot of people may be tempted to sell up entirely & go to Cash, till the outcome is clear - definitely squeeky bum time for Aim/Small stock holders :)

Heartlands not happening, atm - some might think that important. Amazon will only bring Groceries to it's premium service customers, so MRW customers will NOT benefit unless they pay top dollar. Lidl Prosecco not cheaper anymore due to limit of 1 bottle on 5 off 40 pound voucher. NO limit on my Tesco, 2/3 pound off 20 pound vouchers, do the math as they say. Lidl have 1 choice of Prosecco, Tesco must have at least a dozen, including the 11% less fizzy style with a cap instead of a cork, which I prefer.

I will try and keep it simple - what is Big Money betting will happen to MRW, most shorted FTSE stock? I don't ask whether you agree with them, just if you have identified the threat :) Alternative response, 'so what?', probably not the smart answer :)

Rather missing the point - The market hates uncertainty, and there can be nothing more uncertain than the impact of the BREXIT vote, regardless of outcome. As I said, the normal reaction is to dump small stocks & reduce positions ahead of such events.

Like saying the bookies have got the odds all wrong :) Seeing you are all mesmerized by SP, The Bets on Tesco SP falling are going DOWN & bets on SBRY & MRW SP falling, are going UP, tho they are already up to 7 x Bigger. I guess you don't have a rational reason for this :) Illogical, Captain to say compare MRW/Tesco SP like a hawk, but ignore professional Big Money bets on SP FALLING.

Ocado 17.19%, SBRY 8.65%, Tesco 2.19%, MRW 14.58% Still no deal with Ocado to service MRW Scottish stores. Initial cockup on Amazon had MRW Milk at 69 pounds & Bananas at 27 pounds.
