I think it was Kencarv who made a really relevant comment when he said that when CPX announces a new product it takes years not months to actually get to the market place. If one is looking that far ahead then who knows what can happen. So while you start off with great enthusiasm whether you actually will deliver is still an unknown quantity. If one looks at total CPX revenue for the last 4 years it has hardly changed and remained in the 4 millions . Yet it has now been several years since thinline was announced as well as other ground-breaking announcements. The problem is who wants to gamble on a predicted and uncertain outcome several years away. My local football club has promised Premiership football in 5 years but would I bet on it , no way. CPX is a share which will rise on news but it will only be maintained and move to a higher level when real sales are delivered. All I have ever sought to do is to urge caution and not to get too carried away on announcements. Meanwhile, I hope Profit is right and that we will all be millionaires in a years� time. Are his promises built on quicksand, you decide?

Pugg. My thoughts are that this is welcome news. What is needed however is constant reassurance that solutions to known problems will be turned into actual sales. Here again we have a product which wont be produced until next year and I fear as this wont show in results for sometime that things might drift as they have for the last 6 months or so. The SP in a few weeks time will give some indication as to where we are at. I hope its 15p.

Welsh. You make a valid point . It is however difficult to quantify what contribution direct sales make to the totals as device assembly and distribution is managed by two manufacturing partners in Malaysia. Without knowing the margins and totals as I said difficult to quantify

Well Claret don't you think this is one of the most important aspect of CPXs finances (unless you subscribe to the growth is everything theory) ? Ultimately, all your research is meaningless unless its turns into revenue. Business is quite simple, firstly you produce a product that people want to buy, then you sell it for more than you make it for. CPXs model is to licence the product and take a guaranteed cut on sales. All I have pointed out is that, that revenue channel has not taken off at the rate the rampers have predicted. I am not saying it never will but just getting people to look at it and form their own views before investing their hard earned cash. Also why haven't we heard about the Spire follow on order by now ?

I will gladly reply if you can tell me why it is necessary to call me a scummy troll? It merely shows what a horrible person you must be. I am not saying for one moment our tech is not good what I am saying is that to date the royalties have not produced significant revenue. In the last accounts they represented just 17% of income so less than one fifth. As AK has indicated a greater reliance on such revenue all I have sought to do is say, well the required increase seems too big to meet forecast. CPX has always made a loss and this despite encouraging forecasts in recent years which have all failed to materialise. I hope more than anybody that your view proves to be the right one but do I have your total faith, no. As regards those who choose to ridicule me well I guess it shows that you have a total lack of respect for anyone's view but your own. I trust your parents are proud of their issue.

Well Parkez I think we have may have bought some credibility to our views, but as Welsh says let their be no doubt that CPX is a gamble (based on AKs dream). The question is, is it really a dream or a potential nightmare. I bought into the dream but the swingometer (who can remember tha) is moving towards the nightmare. You pays your money ... As regards the insults, sticks and stones. To me the psyche of the rampers is that need to believe in their investment and will cling to anything which says they are right. I appreciate the huge amount of background information that is supplied by " the technically aware" posters on here but it is only advisory as nobody knows exactly what is going on except AK and as always he will paddle his own canoe be it for his own gain or even his exit strategy.

Tony P . While others will no doubt come up with other reasons around manipulation to me ultimately the SP is decided by supply and demand. The demand is created by confidence in that your investment is safe and will make money (or not lose it). The issue is how do you arrive at the confidence to invest. One assumes the IIs are the more professional and have inside info and previous expedience. PIs who hold most CPX shares get a reason to invest from various sources including BBs. This board is dominated by people who constantly ramp the share based on its potential. As a miserable old bugger I tend to look at what could go wrong rather than what could go right as a fool and his money are soon parted. All IMHO
