Am I taking it Claret that you now withdraw your AVX £3m fee assertion? That's all I was trying to clarify , not trying to criticise. It is any interesting point re licence fees i.e. if you lose a patent case OK you get fined but do you in fact pay more for any future deal ?

And what is the basis of your "thought" ? Mine is from published data. Any fee is only worth what someone is prepared to pay for it.

How do you know AVX paid £3m Claret. I thought the first was £1m, the second £750k and third never revealed . Whatever the last one was it was in 17/18 H2 and masked only £120k loss.

You must draw your own conclusions on that . I merely reacted to the generally held opinion on the case which wasn't that they had the best lawyers.

In 2016 Greatbatch were awarded $37.5 million in damages against AVX for two patent infringements. So does that tell us that we have a super duper watertight IP or that AVX didn't want to risk it. You pays your money TT

I think you will find TT written in some historic postings that prior to signing the CPX deal that AVX had to cough up millions for patent transgressions, so may be just maybe they didn't want to risk any more cases. Any how lets hope we win

A typical response from a serial ramper. OK TT could you please advise what is your relevant evidence that a deal will be struck. Not saying your are wrong and that you are not entitled to an opinion. The question is quite simply what is your evidence? Is it based on fact or hope? I understand your wish for it to be true but that wont sway the judge's mind. To me this is just another blip along CPXs journey to possible profit.

What evidence is there that a deal will be made ? It is nowt but wishful thinking. Similarly there is all this fuss about we have the best lawyers. It makes no difference its about who has the best case. I feel the whole future is CPX will be dictated by the result of this case. If our IP does not stand up others will surely try it on. If we win it sends a clear message. Meanwhile I suspect "shortly" will turn out to mean not before 5 Sept. The truth is that none of us know how close to the wind we are sailing. Yes I hope we win but lets not get carried away.

I am not shorting. I have accumulated 1.3m of shares at an average which currently is 21% up. The last two years has been a succession suggested progress points which have not been met/happened. Those technical guys on this board can chunter on about how good our product is but the important thing is selling 'em. So far CPX performance in this respect has not kept up which predictions. How much longer will the faithful few give AK as even the most hard core supporters appear to be starting to question his "delivery in general". The charts don't lie. We need news desperately.

So, in 17/18 for every £49 earnt they spent £65 (Allenby forecast £53/£59). For 18/19 the forecast is for an increased “equivalent spend” to £73 and that they will be just breaking even. Meanwhile, cash in hand has fallen from a predicted $A2.6m to $A1.8m. As this year is predicted to show a significant increase in revenue (+50%) I guess much will depend on the meaning of the word “shortly” and the outcome of the IP cases. Not just stating the obvious but outlining the task ahead.

iwgrod. I have no idea but equally nor do you. The position is that no matter what product is in development you have got to sell 'em. So far sales have not achieved predicted levels that's all I am saying . People move between direct sales, royalties and IP as our main strengths. While the former may grow the issue about IP worries me. People say we have "world class" IP but how do we know how good it is? We have only AKs word for it . Ultimately the courts will decide but the problem is the verdict(s) are months away. Meanwhile TT where have I lied ? My oipinion of the current risks are different from yours simples. JT but is that not at the heart of what marketing is all about i.e. producing a product that people want to buy ? I recall it being said that CPX technology was waiting for the world to catch up . How smug is that when it is being financed by shareholders and the Aussie public purse. AK may be a wonderful R and D engineer but to date with what 15 years of consecutive losses he certainly isn't as good a businessman. Now we have a previously senior salesman dumping his shares. May be a genuine reason but also could be an informed decision?

Profit may talk a load of gibberish but he has one point and that is that Kongats has rarely delivered on his inferred predictions. Be it next quarter, shortly , year of transformation all of these assertions have not materialised. The question is how much credibility do we give him now? The recently declared breakeven H2 results are IMHO misleading in that they contain AVX licence fees and the first Spire order payments. Will this revenue be maintained/replaced?. I am in heavy but for the first time my overall portfolio is in the red. because of the continuing fall of the SP. Current investors believe they know enough to understand that the potential is there but if I was a new investor I would see CPX as just another jam tomorrow share.
