Since then in three years we have had AVX, Spire and nothing automotive hardly exciting oh and a placing to buy machinery. Now that all AVX licence fees have been paid I think it will be some time before AVX net revenue increases. Parkez I agree there seems to be a potentially huge market for supercaps but how confident are you that we will get more than our fair share and why has it not happened to date? Profit I post because of people like you who tolerate no view other than their own really hack me off. The issue here is one of belief in AKs predications. Let's see how far out 17/18 outturn v forecast are. The real problem is this is AKs company which he has led to over 10 years of consecutive losses and he is under no real personal pressure to achieve.

It is not negativity it is stating facts , why else is the SP plummeting?. As regards being 10 years ahead of its time what is the point in that . Marketing is about producing a product customers are ready to buy now , why cant you see that?. I have no technical knowledge of the excellence of CPXs product, all I am interested in is do they sell and at the moment they seem to producing products for which there are no apparent immediate customers.. The issue of cash burn then becomes relevant. I hope all the positive people on here prove me wrong but with not one adverse comment about Maxwell announcing the first car deal I doubt it as any comment falls on deaf ears. I have just suffered a similar set back with ADL where D. Whitby was supposed to be the knows it all messiah. Here the "gorilla" fellow said he was a rogue but the believers would have none of it. Basically all the rampers have total belief in what AK says, I want to have it but quite frankly the lack of news is becoming boring.

Agree absolutely profit. To note extract from last year�s Trading Update "it now believes that certain of these licence opportunities may not be completed prior to the end of the current financial year" and ask how many licences have been signed 12 months later. None. The facts are that despite all the potential CPX are not delivering as promised. I don�t expect this year�s results to be anywhere near forecast. What I do expect is more procrastination.

Well dome Iwgrod you have succeeded where others have failed. I have decided that there is no place on this board for people who have a view other than a positive one . I am tired of all the personal insults mainly from a few obnoxious individuals so much so that I now find this board generally unfriendly. It seems the positive thinkers are perfectly able to complain about those with a differing views but when one replies you are told to shut up and go away and reported as a troll . Having survived TT FCA investigation I am now taking a break.

TT that's fine but noticed you failed to comment on the previous correspondence which discussed CPXs previous prediction that 16/17 was supposed to be "the year". Why if AK was wrong then cannot he be wrong again. The most recent posters seem absolutely certain the price is remaining low because of some devious scheme and nothing to do with the facts that previous predications have failed to materialise and therefore a lack of certainty exists. Nothing is certain in life. Profit was certain that AVX were going to announce in April, we all expected news of Spire before now yet silence. At the moment CPX is a rainbow of "possible outcomes", but there is not always gold at the end of the rainbow. I don't ask that you agree with me I just comment as I see it.

Scraggs . You are spot on . Marketing is all about producing a product to the specification and price the customer stipulates. So far we seem to think the product is "world class" yet the customer is slow in placing orders. Why and are they just around the corner. Who knows and that is the ultimate question

Claret. I appreciate that you are confident with your research but can you be totally certain that the apparent promise will be converted into sales? So far many of the predictions have not materialised so what is it that makes you so certain the second time around they will deliver? All of us have no doubt lost money on previous "dead certs". I don't question your right to invest but I do try and understand the record of the company to date and that is sometimes difficult with limited information in the public domain.

Gentlemen. I am merely reporting my observations that many more people on here have commented on the lack of news and have stipulated dates. The fact that you have blind faith that this share will come good is your business and your decision. Time and time again forecasts and predictions have failed to materialise on this share and it surprises me that many seem to think that any criticism is akin to treason. I have my opinion and you have yours. I set a target of 20p but that is not in tablets of stone

This board consists of many people who see the potential of CPXs products and gladly believed the predictions made by AK and this has converted into the often made statement that the savvy LTHs are not going anywhere. Then there are the sceptics who have seen predictions slip. The latest prediction is in the interims "Licencing negotiations continue with numerous parties. While there have been delays in finalizing these agreements, the Board remains optimistic that the most advanced of these will be concluded in the next six months". I am sensing that many LTHs are now seeing the end of June firmly established as a deadline for AK to deliver.

Murata�s $236k indicates sales of �4.32 m in 15/16 so if current sales are �11m this would indicate an annual income of $601k. In my opinion royalties are only a minor income channel (about 15-20%). I therefore conclude that direct sales and licence fees are where the money is and we have had precious little news about either of those recently. If 18/19 is to come any where near the proposed 48% year on year total revenue increase, then we must hear something before end of June.

The 15/16 annual report puts Murata royalty revenue at $236k. Then using the barchart from the Oct presentations this indicates an increase of about a third in 16/17 to say $315k. With total 16/17 royalty revenue stated as being $700k, this puts AVX at $385k. It doesn�t make sense

With current revenue at 4 x �65k (�260K) sales must exceed �5.2m pa to increase royalty payments, Looking at it logically given the licence fee payments it would seem that as far as AVX is concerned the first three years will generate the most overall income for CPX. I am therefore struggling to understand where all the extra forecasted revenue is coming from given that new licensees have been deliberately excluded fro the calculations

Am I correct in that with AVX for Mar 2016-Mar 2019 we will receive annual licence fee and a guaranteed minimum quarterly royalty fee but it is only after Mar 2019 we will receive 5% on all sales? This implies to me that there will be no increase in AVX revenue up to Mar 2019. while we don�t have precise details of the agreement it appears to say, 3 annual licence fees plus guaranteed but fixed quarterly payment fees. If I am correct then any new AVX launch should not affect income until H1 19/20. Even then we don�t know how much the first three years guaranteed payments are. Does anyone have any evidence that the first three years are not fixed payments? All talk of royalty payments percentage increases seems to mention Murata only.

I accept the initial order was probably due in H1 but I thought we aware talking about the $1.0m order which has yet to be confirmed. As regards Claret it may be drivel to you but what I say documents past performance against previous forecasts. The inaccuracies there could cast doubt on present forecasts

Well not according to Allenby see second para under Thinline. Of perhaps greater significance is AVXs third payment . When is that due and how much is it? Heard absolutely nothing to date and CPX wont respond to any queires.

Is not the hoped for follow on order for Spire scheduled for H1 18/19?

All judgements are based on a number of criteria, past performance, future predictions etc etc but here we have a having a world class company with a specialist CEO who knows the market inside out. Yet they have read the market so completely wrong. The question is do you believe the latest forecasts or view them with a certain amount of scepticism given previous forecasts. One thing is for sure only news will give an indication one way or the other
