It was quite interesting to hear him talk about markets in general and what this year is likely to hold in store. Another tough one obviously. Basically totally focused on m&a activity. He did mention how well EKF is performing and others in the health sector which I have found with my own pf which is weighted towards that. No doubt we will get an update here in the next moth or so. Half of Aim seems to be in the same predicament thanks to fund managers and their clients. Such a lazy way to invest. Chris Mills doesn’t have that problem because all his trusts are close ended. Harwood own over 3 percent and took part in the placing. Octopus appear to be largest holders at 8 percent. It does seem surprising that none of them appear to have bought more at 2.5p. I guess they would nov be able to buy a meaningful amount as it looks like it’s PIs that have driven the price down and back up on fairly small amounts. There are funds that are having to sell because clients are selling the funds. Lip and Pmi are two that have been suffering from that over the last couple of years. So do people think outing Vrci up for sale would suit institutions best. That would be a shame I think

This dopey site is behind the curve as usual. The closing sp is .75 . One small trade at .8 and two bigger ones at .78. Possibly is the ‘TrellusEffect’ but this is quite a leaky ship.

Trader I doubt their average is 40p. They were involved in the subsequent placings. Renx hold 3.5% , Octopus have around 8 %. These arnt people hoping to become overnight millionaires but invest for long periods where they make the real money . Chris Mills funds have made something like 1400% over time . Not a bad record.

Inevitable few profit takers. I will probably top again on any fall back but I suspect most will know the potential is many multiples if successful. Same with Renx. Be nice if EFK could join the party as I believe they still have an interest in one or both.

Never been a fan of Stockopedia. They buy in a lot of info which is often out of date. Sharescope seem much better in tune.

It is fair enough to say this is a sucker stock though. Any vague piece of information lifts the sp as a new bunch investors buy in , but then there is a lull, because news doesnt materialise into anything meaningful or lasting, and it continues its downward path. Either there will be one meteoric rise if some deal is struck or we are stuck in neverever land. It still sounds viable to me, but you need the patience of a British Rail passenger!
