You’re right about that last years results are pretty meaningless in the context of the next stage. It’s what happened in the last six months that is crucial.

In answer to Kingfisher I think whats missing in the detail is exactly how much the many acquisitions have cost in dilution and cash.? Therefore how much have the extra revenues and profits have cost shareholders.? I see a research note suggests fair value of £1.40-£1.50. A yield of 4.5% and a PE of 8 certainly doesn't seem to reflect the value of the business. I bought back in yesterday after an absence of a couple of years. Its always been a frustrating stock to own to say the least. Seeing as M&A activity seems to be hotting up It seemed worth another go and a reasonable dividend with at least 1 more rate cut on savings likely this year makes it a reasonable risk/reward play

Orphan drug status for Nanogenics liptide therapy in USA was applied for last July. A decision was supposed to have been reached after 3 months. At the same time after yet another placing in June an oral IBD delivery system appeared on the radar which seems to have overshadowed everything else being granted a patent in December. Surely there should have been an RNS regarding the US seller. Ekf is only listed in the Uk. It is up to the seller to notify the company. If those prats could have been rsed a buyer could have been found or a placing organised as most people with a brain manage to organise . I suppose its just client money so they dont give a toss.

Lets face it. Most companies are subject to insider trading . The main thing is this still well short of where it should be.
