Dont know if you heard Mr Ford on the media button posted today, but he talks about most of the acerage being derisked now and wanting to drill as much as they can as quickly as possible to put in the proven catagory. That's not to say that a 20% drop in oil price is not going to hurt a little but not half as much as off shore drillers whoes break even point will be much higher. So I dont think Caza will be anywhere near the top of the pile in turning off the tap. As Malcy says there will have to be a line drawn at some stage by opec. I read somewhere that Russian oil is $110 break even, and deep sea oil is probably in the nineties now.

14p would value Bone Springs at about £2.3 million, after debt! divide that by 300 wells=oil cheaper than water!

On the flipside they have consideable assets and cash.

this morning. No Smoke without fire, and the market valuation is probably one of the most absurd, But that seems to be the flavour of small oilies for the last couple of years. Cant see KNOC letting go for £1.4, indeed they may have their hand forced to take over the whole show. Either way better than thousnads of ridiculous AT trades, mostly under £1000 since the placing.

Think premier will have to go a lot further than that, but good opener. Start with a 2 and they might get somewhere

Greenland is unlikely to bare fruit and they had a run of poor drilling results after an exceptional run, which enabled them to tap the market about three times in the last 5 years. Knoc inherited a large portion ( when the sp was around £2 in the Dana takeover) and another rather unreliable int has/had almost an equal amount. These stocks are news driven and there is unlikeable to be any for a few months, so if the sp drifts much further someone else is likely to take the inherent value from us. None of the above factors are particuarly good and why the sp lies in this sorry state. Whilst in the worst case scenario one would think the last £1.20 placing would underline the lowest takeout price that is frustratingly below its real value like so many exploration stock right now. One would hope there would be enough interested parties to make sure a better price would be achieved in such circumstances. It is very difficult for the board to do anything other than substantially increase earnings and discoveries. Jam tomorrow doesnt work in this market anymore.

Probably explains why Malcy went a bit quiet on FPM, but he did say it was seriously undervalued none the less. Very welcome chance to get back in fully. Not many on Aim worth bothering with. I have scaled down to just this and CAZA now, both of which are held in the Junior Oils trust too. Malcy is supposed to be speaking to GS today. This constant stream of small automatic trades is bizar. I can only think that with the recent placing it is has narrowed the current availability of buyers in the market for the moment, especially as we are in the silly season, so am taking advantage of the situation and buying a few at a time.
