Correct. That is the game plan. Despite what others are saying I would have thought we are nearer the beginning than the end of that game plan, and they are not going to allow caza to be sold cheaply, so any immediate uplift is unlikely. Once the rolling ball is really indisputable I expect that will be reflected better than it currently is being. Takeovers dont normally occur on speculation of resources, thats why we have exploration companies to do that work. Then the big guys come and buy the known resource at the going rate, of even a bit higher if they care speculate on oil prices. Caza have a hell of a lot of wells still to drill and its not likely that they will hit one massive reserve. This is a slower but hopefully inevitable build imo.

Possible factors. The big on to me is this quetion of a takeover. So long as the door is firmly shut, which I beileve it is currently, then that particular avenue of speculation wont make anymore big players hurry to get involved just yet. The question of finance to accelerate growth further has not yet been addressed , although it is thought the options are likely to be more favourable with the progress made this year. This is always the critisism of these types of companies with funding and are sometimes perceived to have to sprint just to hold their ground. I would have thought Caza had proved by now that they are not in that catagory. Oil price and oil supply are a massive issue right now, but as has been mentioned several times over, Caza have less to worry about than most. Plain fact is buying momentum has gone in most nearly all oil stocks, probably because of the impending opec meeting this week to see if issues get resolved that have lead to over supply. The value remains here, providing the growth story continues to be proved, and there probably is no better place than where Caza are to achieve that. Just a question of holding nerve, although I'm not going planning to buy more just beacause the stock is cheap. Already done that too many times! GL

I think we all share your frustration as I'm sure the BOD do too. Several negatives outside caza's control. General market sentiment has been expecting a crash. Not my opinion. Oil price, altough it does have an effect, its not as big a problem for caza as it is for other companies. Perceived risk by the market, again ill founded in my opinion. Shortage of money going into the market at the moment. I think many are on the sidelines waiting to get a clear signal about general market direction. I do find it odd that the sp drops on consistantly good news and low volume. Does have a history of moving fast in either direction, which I expect to be upwards soon at the first sign of oil price recovery with the double whammy of preditors rushing to get cheap oil. I dont think they will get it, cos Caza is well covered by director and intsitutional investment, and the board will be happy to do whatever, however long it takes to prove its real value. I have some spare cash and it is so tempting, you and I and possibly many others are playing the same game, holding but not adding much. Probably kick ourselves, but on the other hand we should make a lot of money anyway with what we have invested. never a good idea to invest out of frustration

Next year will be transformational. Will need to be. There ae quite a few in that bracket. Another broker cuts target to £1.5 which is pretty daft for E&P company like Faroe. We dont know where the oil price will be, what demand willbe or what supply will be. So how on earth any broker knows what the price will be is ridiculous. As a target all things being set fair on price, demand, and success with the drill bit, i would be looking for multiples of today's sp. £1.50 would be a lucky strike at takeover which i doubt would be successful. IMO

MMs go fishing taking out stops, which are ok for buying, but I never use for selling, because they never work if you really need them. Consistantly work the sp down before news. I'm just hanging on for a sale, and adding a few in the dips. Been a surprising number of those this year. It is always strange to have a seller lurking when there is a bettrer chance of at least trebling your money here in the next six months than anywhere else.

I tend to agree with the Commercial Manager. It is reassuring to see directors buying in with their own money at market price. Which although the percentage is lower than I'd realised, they have been regular buyers and not selling even when they raced up to £2.4 a few years back. The fact is sea exploration and production are expensive. After a terrific run of drills and new licenses, the excitement has rather fizzled out recently compounded by a general disinterest in sector sentiment. Hopefully by the time they start their new campaign next year oil prices will be more favourable and reflected in their figures. They are currently well backed and financed, just need to see the new finance bring a corresponding rise in success!

the current pricing is not entirely market driven. Therfor it can be controlled to some extent. Profitability to cost ratio is excellent as is acess to market. In the event of takeover I would think it highly likely there would be several interested parties both form neighbours and someone outside the region wishing to get a foothold in the Permian Basin, now considered to be 'the Maclaren Vale' of land based oil regions in the states.

mainly all outside Cazas control. Slowdown in world economy, saudi's control of oil prices, negativity toward fraccing, negativity toward viable finance struture, general market sentiment on sector. There are a lot of lousey aim companies with greedy directors, who dont give a toss about their shareholders or the law. The Caza staff that I have met give the impression that they love what they do are invested themselves and their families have too. The main concern for me is will they get the time and chance to prove up the real value here.

The other thing to consider about this spectacularly useless piece of information (re trades buy, sell or could'nt care less) is that it is very inaccurate in a fast changing market and does not publish all the trades anyway. Pointless really! Volume and sp direction are what count imo

The debt now leaves value of Caza at 000,000. Nothing for the oils coming out from the ground or the asset of Bone Spring itself, which as Char1le points out is ridiculous. Thats markets. Just hope they really do have the firepower to defend a ludicrous offer.
