Well we are all entitled to our views but it passes 4 screen tests on stockopedia for growth , neglected stock, momentum cant remember the last one ! scores highly on value and quality. negative gearing, so cash rich. Reasonable ROCE value of 9%. There have definitely been sellers recently for whatever reason, but seems to have weathered that pretty well. Anything with 5g prospects has got to be one of the best areas to be in in this market. Certainly not one I'd want to be out of.

I do agree with you that Mark tends to be on the cautious side which is a good thing.. Quite why somoeone would sell 40000 shares below 60p is a bit of a mystery. Don't know if you read Paul's write up on Air recently on STKP he thought the sp was about right at 70p ish under the current climate. Quite a bit of money off the table recently. Wouldn't call it panic, more money management . This does create opportunities, one of which is clearly here. As Paul says 'these are the kind of entrepreneurs I like to back.' yes it does well to check dates, which don't always come up. I just assumed it was a recent article Trek had posted. I think somewhere I saw Abra admitted they needed to do more work on it. I cant see how TTG. could not realise this, Pretty daft to make a batch of them if they know they are not up to scratch. I think its the good. the bad and possibly not the ugly just yet. A drop of a third of its revenue in H1 is not great. This could be a large part of 'deferred contracts', with mention of possible benefits from 5g mobile to come. However they say they are cash are cash generative and have 'a strong balance sheet.' Underlying EBITDA is up and the cash position is maintained having paid off a 4 million debt/legacy loan. Still actively looking for acquisition 'in the pipeline.' There seem to have been a few incumbents from previous acquisitions working their way through the system. SWG looks to be efficiently managed, 'avoiding some of the worst sectors hit by COVID'. Plenty of green shoots. Effectively it looks in better shape than when the sp nearly hit £3.00 before the placing.

I think this video confirms it is Abras. Not only that it confirms the confidence of TTg to produce product and the accuracy of the testing. They show how it differentiates between different strains of flu and colds and other diseases and because of the compactness of the test no need for labs where tests could get contaminated. Not sure why there are those big sells earlier today. It may not be in the bag but they must be very close. I cant see why tests that take longer and are possibly less accurate would be preferred unless of course they are owned by Serco!

The Independents description of the 30 second test definitely fits iAbra. One self-administered test involves a “machine-learning holographic microscope” which, backers including Dell and Intel hope, can identify whether a person is carrying the disease and offer results in less than half a minute. One hell of a coincidence if its a different company.Hope its been patented! I expect they are being a little more cautious on press releases after the last debacle. In fact there is no point unless they are selected.

Just been looking at comparisons with Aveva and Softcat who today announced pretty decent results 10% increase in profits and rewards with a 12% drop in share price, now recovering. They have a pe of 40 and 34 respectively to Mcro's 2! Obviously their cash flows and profit are way ahead. What caught my attention was the very high ROCE value of Mcro @ 79%, higher than SCT and a good deal higher than Aveva. Now that the dirty laundry has been aired or written off, this does look very cheap given a half decent set of results. Not sure why Mcro would 'see nearer £4 and then back to £2.50.' Is that from frustrated experience or some clever calculation of market reaction to decent results? I would think the director purchases this year would demonstrate a bit more optimism than that. Secondly the recent return of the COVID rampage has brought out the doomsayers in volume about impending market crash and devaluation etc. Today with some positive news that one of the thousands of COVID testing kits finally being deployed at Heathrow airports there are real signs that we will get things moving again. There will be more of these test kits on the heels of this one, cheaper, faster and more accurate. So I'm looking to the longer term and a gradual strong recovery here

That is pretty much the pattern with tips for small shares. I think it hit 50 p before IC tip. It really takes little volume to move these small stocks. I do believe the potential here is pretty strong though there have been some quite big sells in the last few days, which hadn't thus far impacted the sp greatly until tonight. maybe general market weakness. As was stated by the company earlier 'this is just the beginning' re 5g contracts. Trouble is, is 5g going to be that big. Johnson right royally screwed Vodafone and BT over 5g. Thats the myth the oil industry has exploited for years. Of course Its been running out since we started using it. Its non renewable! But its unlikely now we will ever use it all. The balance of energy production costs has swung heavily away from oil which can cost 70/80 dollars in deep sea production, twice the market price. Saudi are desperate to monitise as much of their oil as they can. They very shrewdly floated their state oil company a couple of years back. Bp like BT before them have had every opportunity to be a market leader in their field . Sadly just like RDS they have been more keen to protect the dividend, borrowing substantial sums instead of looking at the reality of the business to pay accordingly. Admittedly nobody saw the impact of COVID, but that has merely accelerated the inevitable. All oil explorations been scaled right back because there is simply too much oil. Either BP or Shell is looking to extend their plastics division. Pretty sure BP have sold their petrochemical division recently.Remains to be seen just how much investment they have really put into greener energy production as they have been claiming for years without much evidence. Interestingly both these companies had a 20% higher sp when the oil price was half what it is now. Probably to do with falling sales volume. RDS tried to tell us oil use wouldn't peak till 2035 only 6 months ago. I would suggest it already has. Gas will still be very much in demand for a few more years. Nearly every investment trust in the uk had Shell and BP as top holdings for dividend growth, most of them are completely out now. Perhaps they are oversold at todays price but even if they have value as a business it looks pretty much taken up by massive debt. There simply are much better investments especially for smaller investors. Thats the other big problem. Once they were the big guys, so huge it was such a convenient safe place to stash huge sums. Now that money all goes to Apple, Amazon, and Microsoft not much dividend but staggering growth. Apple is itself now worth more than the entire FTSE 100!

I got the best deals on car and house insurance and absolutely know quibble on a couple of claims. The big point about insurance is when you come to put a claim in. Some of these comparison sites may give you cheap insurance which is fine if you never claim, but if you do, thats when it can go wrong as several people I know have found out the hard way. I know there has been a lot of press about loyal customers getting ripped off, but as with utilities you just have to switch or get a requote or just bargain over the phone, can usually get a better deal. This is the modern enterprise as encouraged by the government. I think the share price performance has been to do with the investment company loading up with debt in order to prove growth to justify increasing salaries. Sir Roger doesn't need to do that. He wants to turn the family firm around and get it back on track. Unfortunately its been terrible timing as we thought we were getting back on our feet and suddenly COVID hits back with a vengeance. The two cruises for November had to be rescheduled for February and March a couple of days before the Placing closed. Fundamentally I am not aware of any changes to the companies position since then except that now they have reduced debt at the cost of massive dilution and two very good well covid protected ships ready to go as and when. Its going to be a long slow turnaround with plenty more hiccups no doubt. Am only aware of one institution selling so far and then of course there was that 3 million buy from a former employee who now has his own cruise business. Saga has a very cash generative insurance business to help get us through the inaction of the leisure arm. It is very dicey as it is for all businesses right now, I think this is a reasonable risk/reward for a possible big turnaround. The important thing is to be well diversified in your own portfolio.

Has got a bit of a jam tomorrow stigma about it. The trading update was dire as explained re cover impact. Mr Sharma, with his notable achievements and success, has presumably been brought in to try and turn KMK into a jam today stock. Covid is still a worry despite the claims that previously held back contracts are going ahead. Added to that the game changer potential looks very positive. A little surprised there is not a great deal more urgency about fulfilling the importance of this potential from both sides i.e the interested governments as well as the company considering the apparent lack of ability to bring this pandemic under some sort of control. Why leave it till January for heavens sake? This kind of technology is needed right now

Love the ramshackle way Lse just chuck on some old trades from Friday at the end there. No record of them on London Stock Exchange site. All very encouraging though. I like Simon Thompson, sounds a little eccentric. I do think he over thinks things a bit way beyond the markets analyst brain, but I guess that's what you need to doing to out manoeuvre the market to gain the upper hand sometime

The largest number of shares I can buy on line is 1000. I started off at 10,000 for heaven sake.Quite happy to take the ones I have though. No way. Does this mean MMs are taking all the share sales and holding them till they get a better price to sell them again like on the results update. Thought that practice was illegal, not that that counts for anything cos the FSA are total tozzers.
