After the 100th patient was recruited in Feb there is then a 15 day treatment period followed by another 28 day observation period, which takes us until around the end of March until the assessment could begin.
So I think we're in the 7th week of assessment, assuming they started it straight away.
There were a lot of secondary and other objectives as well as the primary ones so I guess a lot to assess.

I suspect the reason is similar to why someone would post "I am just amazed we're still under the 175p." or "the price of SNG is stagnated.. but sooner or later that will change." on the SNG thead?

Yes it always sits more comfortably when directors also but their money in (and not just token amounts). We do have very strong institutional holders, especially thiose that bought in the recent placing (see https://evgen.com/investors/shareholder-information/) which makes up for it a bit.
But yes the question is still there, why didn't they buy decent amounts. Maybe they are strapped for cash?!

If the MM's genuinely thought we had no chance of success and they were going to get a chance to crash the SP soon, they'd be trying to suck PI's in with a juicy-looking rise, not sticking to 8p and trying to bore us out.

Prevention via a harmless pill will put the fear of god into big pharma - the last thing they want is people becoming healthier (very bad for business!). So on positive results I foresee a takeover followed by a shelving. Good news financially for us shareholders though.
