Again you are talking about the cumulative inflation over the last 12 months - inflation that has already happened, not inflation that is going to happen from this point onwards. The change in prices i.e. inflation from July to August in the US was 0.1%. You don't seem to be able to separate the idea of current (or rather near future) inflation i.e. what actions such as interest rate changes now could influence and what they report as 'current inflation' which is what has already happened over the last year.

"real interest rates are still hopelessly negative" - only if you compare current interest rates with historical cumulative of the PREVIOUS 12 months inflation. If you use the most recent monthly inflation figure which was 0.1% (US) 1.2% pro-rata they are definitely positive.

You are talking about cumulative inflation over the previous 12 months, only 0.1% of which occurred from July to August - which is the figure we have closest to what the actual 'current' inflation i.e what raising interests rates could act upon might be rather than inflation that happened over the last 12 months which cannot possibly be affected by raising interest rates or anything else now.

All a manipulation based on misleading headlines. Actual inflation in the US last month was only 0.1% i.e. 1.2% pro-rata but they choose emphasise the inflation that has already occurred in the last 12 months instead which the unthinking masses encouraged by the media seem to think is the 'current inflation', whatever that means.

Meant to be starting clinical trials within weeks. Worst-case seems to be a delay to these starting.
As you say the SP may continue its malaise without news but with £8-9m cash in the bank and Juv royalties on the way from next year the downside seems limited.

ppm = parts per million
% = (parts) per hundred
