Only issue here is this is normally an extremely thinly traded stock - have a look at the longer term chart with volume. MM's know that a large proportion of the buying today is hot PI money that can't hold over a weekend never mind long term and they don't want to be left holding the bag.. Just something to be aware of.

They are trying to get a placing away imo and probably aiming for 1.5p again (if they can get it), hence the non-stop mindless ramping.

As they said in today's Investor meet, there is another option which is to not take up the subs, in which case (assuming the price is higher than 48p) they will place the untaken-up subs and distribute the profits to anyone who didn't take them. So even if you don't take up the subs you don't really lose out. That didn't happen last year as the shareprice was around the same as the sub price as you point out.

It's only compelling if you don't think there's much chance of the price going much higher than 58p in the next 5-6 months.

And also remember the subscription won't go ahead if the price is much lower than the current price so there will be no dilution in that case, or a much reduced dilution if the price is just a few pence higher than 48p as we saw last year with the 40% take-up.

You probably realise this but it's your holding in late November that counts for the 5:1 sub right so you can't sell now and still take up the subs.

Taking profit is one thing, but I don't see how that relates to the subscription offer at this stage. Much nearer the time some holders may sell some of their holding in order to take up the subscription (as they don't have the cash or chose not to use it), but not sure why anyone would do that 5-6 months in advance unless they expected the price to trend lower from here? Otherwise you're just missing out on 5-6 months of potential price increases.

Yes noticed the selling recently. Wonder if it's people who were sucked into the upswing on the way down around April 2022 and held on ever since, and now sell out at breakeven. I've heard some "investors" tend to do that.

"Funded to clinical readiness" means funded up until it's ready to start clinical trials, not to go into the market! That will be many years after that conditional on the clinical trials.

I can see 5m+ buy orders at 14p and above, can't see any dumping.

Is the issue here. They are burning through £0.5m a month and will be running out of cash again within the next 2 months.

If they were developing a pipeline of new tests then that might be fine, but the CEO has said they are not - they are currently focused on commercialisation of the two existing tests. So what exactly is all that cash being spent on?
