Yip, Sofina definitely adding @ Remainco. Looks like yesterday was order filling given the dates.

It's actually up almist 10% off recent lows.

Moral being to buy the dip, especially when the volume increases.

Pretty comprehensive list you compiled yesterday on the list of failures.

A few you missed off though.

● Pivot to chasing whale accounts at THG Ingenuity. None accomplished in 2 years of vast Capex spend under Vivek who then bit the bullet. Still no notable whale accounts to date.

● Urged 2 years ago to seek Premium listing by an Active Investor, to bring in investment funds that would only invest in premium listed companies. Delayed for 2 years against an FCA Review. Finally 2 years later, an ESCC listing on Monday.

● Claimed all 3 Divisions were US ready, after a £15M seperation spend. Never happened.

● Sponsorship deal with Williams Formula 1. I think there was only 1 race since sponsorship started where both Williams drivers finished the same race and with 1 driver Logan Sergeant replaced for consistently poor performance.

● Scenario now where it is probably costing more to provide personal protection to the individual concerned and all his close family than it would be to replace and employ a market switched on and City savvy CEO.

The cheaper it gets the more probable it is that Kelso or another makes an approach imvho.

Not much accompanying volume either by the looks of it so unless we have some hidden trades whoever is manipulating the sp and trying to close, doesn't seem to be getting much volume in return.

Two more also to be imminently removed by the looks of things.

That is serious money saved and serious risk removed.

Ingenuity has gone private.

Was it ever in any doubt the way the agreements were written that he would end up with the Supermajority holding.

The important points from the Remainco / THG are this.

That he has dropped over 5% of his THG holding in the process, a large chunk, so not as flush with cash as some would have thought.

That 5% drop in holding + certain II's not supporting the fundraise may leave the door open for a Bid from another party: Apollo, Selkirk, AN, or another.

Reference the recent large sales @Kelso. Is it MM? and if so why reduce your Pacman defence?

It's at it's most vulnerable that I have known it and presently in play for me.

If he is reducing @ Kelso (and there must be an RNS imminent off someone over there) there has to be a reason for why he no longer feels the need to Pacman defence.

My monies would then be firmly on Selkirk Group popping up imminently with an approach.

Some late prints @Kelso showing up from 31/12?? on top of the other noticeable volume on that day.

Does make me seriously wonder if it is MM exiting over there and if so why now exit his Pacman defensive position?

You might be voting only on THG Beauty by that point...

Yorek he had a massive loan from Warrington Council to payback on the HQ property sale, so made some profit but not a lot. My interpretation is that with most of his wealth Equity rich wealth rather than use free cash above say the £10M he placing susbscribed it looks like he has had to dip into his equity holding of Remainco to take up the slack.

Ingenuity private sees him relinquish Board position and slip into the background.

Hopefully the drop in holding here indicates the same.

If Selkirk are serious about say THG Nutrition then the reduced holding plays right into their hands.

Same for Apollo or any other interested parties.

Might we see Lucy Gorman as the Remainco CEO in the not too distant future, having knowledge and a proven track record in both sides of Remainco, Nutrition and Beauty, and MM steps aside?

There's a big difference in life between being Equity rich and being Cash rich, when share prices reduce.

Big bonus though for Remainco imvho that he's reduced given other potential dynamics.

If I had Ingenuity shares and wanted a fairly quick profit I'd be listing them on JP Jenkins at a 40% to 50% premium and not letting them go any cheaper than that as I think he is looking at a Supermajority shareholding and stakebuild in Ingenuity whilst stepping back at THG.

So that's warehouses sold, sell down in THG holding. Have family or his doctor told him there's more to life...

MM has reduced substantially and certainly more than any THG Ingenuity "election" amount.

How long before Selkirk approach?

Was actually in Iceland last week and noted several new additions to the MyProtein range and noticeably that they are not reducing the price instore (online multi-buy discount only) so perhaps working Margin improvement on this front.

Just checked and they do have several of them now website listed and particularly on Page 2 and 3.

Actual voting rights have decreased by about 200Mill and that's whats in the pot come Premium Listing / ESCC on 6th Jan. and come the FTSE Russe reshuffle in March and for any approaches. Almost feels desperate today but never grumble at opportunities that get created and best to buy in stages imvho.

The lower it gets the more and more likely Selkirk are to approach.

(Yorek - those Kelso sales last week could be MM selling down in chunks to cash accumulate so that he can pick off any Ingenuity shares that appear on JP Jenkins and to gain Supermajority status, perhaps with greater insight than you or I)
