Moniman companies are delisting left right and centre.

Some do it because they have been taken over and they get a premium. THG though turn them all down as "significantly undervaluing" the company then seemingly ensure that even better undervalue is achieved.

Others do it for a variety of reasons and one of the main ones being that it serves no further purpose for them to remain listed and they are wasting not unsubstantial money paying the fees to remain listed.

I personally think with THG that unless the share price turns back upwards quickly it genuinely has to be a serious option. Then you might see Selkirk come in with take private funding for say a 40% stake and maybe day to day running of the company.

Get onto JP Jenkins and trading on a matched bargain basis and you remove the ability to short and distort. Proof of the pudding being in how stable the THG Ingenuity share price has become since demerger by comparison with that of Remainco. But yes any take private announcement takes a hit.

Then on the other hand a bid or other business deal from Ashley or another could just materialise out of the blue.

Sergio it is actually saying as things stand that it's a decision only that cannot be implemented and nothing can be done. (It's a toothless tiger). Directly quoting the Head of ARMA.

FXPO are also effectively telling everyone this morning that not only is it an erroneous / wrong decision, but it would appear due process has not been followed either. So expect an appeal.

Just a healthy little comment and reminder inserted in there also from Ferrexpo at the end, which the Head of Arma would have seen when she when she reads the article back, that US and UK Funds also own shares and are invested in the company.

Now for THG's next trick. Renegotiate what was it, £600M net debt for Remainco, when your market cap is just over £400M. Banks might be a little tetchy that on paper they won't have assets that cover the loans. Are we left with any properties and the like as collateral? Or am I just being over analytical?

I think it is saying that they have targeted Mr Zhevago's assets but have gone the wrong way about it for instead of owning shares in Poltava mining he actually holds his shares in FXPO plc.

It would be nice to see the audit trail for the notifications of court date given what's been said and also a copy of a transcript of the court hearing. Looks like it's come as a complete surprise to FXPO.

As highlighted last night, effectively 5 working days from initial SBI article to the court decision and what a shocking state of affairs in a country that aspires to join the European Union and as such would have to uphold the European Convention on Human Rights and Article 6 in particular, which is the Right to a Fair Trial.

Looks like it will be appealed to a higher court on good grounds and that we might get a further RNS in due course. You'd be after full court costs if they haven't been notified about it. It would also be handy to know if Mr Zhevago was notified of the court date.

JohnNth some good points and excuse my ignorance here but why should FXPO enter negotiations to settle when it all centres around Zhevago and his assets. Surely it is they who should pay?

I actually can't find any specific details on the court case on the 28th Feb. Do you have any insight into what the other 15 or 16 assets or liabilities mentioned are that are also coming under state control?

No notification recorded by FXPO on the Thursday 20th Feb.

Weekend then takes out the 22nd and 23rd Feb, presuming people take weekend breaks.

Decision made on 28th Feb with only 4 days in between to get disclosure, find out what is being alleged and the evidence against you, fully consider it, put together a defence case and get everyone to court in what is a complex legal matter.

Now that must be one of the swiftest turnarounds ever in court procedure !!

So Trumps lever works and now Mr Zelenski falls into line and is willing to sign the Mineral Rights deal and participate in peace talks.

And now we also find a decision was made on Friday in the Courts in Ukraine that now means the state will end up being the owner of 49.5% of our main asset and an asset that I thought the company owned 100%, and also in 15 or 16 other assets as well. Furthermore nobody decides to tell us about it and what it actually involves and what I am actually left invested in.

If the state of Ukraine now own Zhevogo's 49.5% does that mean they need to issue a TR1 on the new ownership? My other question would be what then stops the State selling on that stake or even gifting it to another, say as goodwill gesture in a Mineral Rights deal.
