From what I had been reading I don't think the CEO that is leaving was up to the job. Great news that there are predators out there for retail assets. Next also have expansive Beauty aspirations so hopefully they make a play for either Revolution Beauty or THG's beauty side. Both of those also have probably artificially depressed share prices just like here. Asos could be another.

Just be aware that Next also has its own Beauty ambitions having taken space in previous Debenhams store and offering brands online. THG now officially split into 3 divisions and seperate legal entities.

1pencil, those Next talks with Joules the article states have been going on for some time.

Pertinent to just remind ourselves that THG was at 114p on the share price graph when it was approached by one and then multiple bidders itself and it declined 170p. Incredibly its now at 65.6p.

All correct in what you say as always but they are clearly selling online in Ukraine so the wording used may be masking that there is a return to trading. Precision on these points lessens the impact on the eye of the RNS reader.

The point I am making is that as the warring has concentrated in the lower South and East of Ukraine the rest of the population will have reverted back to normal work and life balances as best they can. Work, school runs, socialising, going out.

Just to back that up HeresHopin. Here was the result of a basic search on Revolution beauty in Ukraine using Revolution beauty + the .ua internet country code. That searches in Ukraine as opposed to the UK. Makeup.com.ua the first one I clicked on and scroll down a bit and you will see that you can buy plenty Revolution products.

I don't think it says anywhere that they have exited from Russia and Ukraine. They mention only a £9M Ebitda hit as a result. The reason I mention it is that Russia might be written off at the moment but outside of the Donbas region in Ukraine normal life prevails. People are smartening themselves up to go to work, going out and trying to live a normal existence. People are not just parked up at home saying there's a war on, everything has closed. Work, income, spend.

The lowest of the two broker note price targets is c.50% more that the present sp so we sit and wait for next bod or the spinoffs.
