RE: More info regarding MediChem and RBS Invoice Finance facility11 Aug 2022 14:54
Thanks for clarifying that further 2phevs.
I swore I read it had been purchased for £22M but couldn't put my finger on exactly where I read it and thought it might have been at the time of the IPO but on reverting back to the IPO document it said this "The UK manufacturing facility used by the Group primarily provides haircare and skincare products and is sourced through Medichem Manufacturing Limited (a related party of the Executive Chairman). The Group has a call option to purchase Medichem Manufacturing.
So on what you have uncovered it appears they actually have bought the manufacturing plant and paid £27M.
That is the current market cap now.
That therefore values all the other operations at ZERO which simply cannot be the case. Established concessions in 15,000 stores across the globe, Own website for DTC. Link ups and seling through many other portals. THG, Zalanda, Boohoo.
I have checked back and the RNS is 24th November, and not Nov 21st. But here is what it says
"- Acquisition of skincare producer Medichem Manufacturing Limited (now named Revolution Beauty Labs Ltd) for c.£27m (subject to completion accounts), to vertically integrate the Group and improve productivity, cost base and margins over the long-term"
It's in the Operational highlights section underneath the first table.
