I'll go against you on your thoughts on a "whale announcement" and offer an alternative view

for 3 reasons.

1. Walgreen Boots if they get them onboard is not just a whale, its a Blue whale. Huge vote of confidence
2. On announcement what they claimed as an expectation then becomes a reality and adds to revenue and the bottom line
3. If it is Walgreen Boots it will encourage a) other investors to invest b) others to use THG Ingenuity.

Change in communication these days says we will see an RNS. In any case aMaterially significant addition to trading would merit it.

For balance there seemed to be someone trying to tinker with the price in the latter part of the afternoon. But, the market makers seemed quite happy to let them feed shares into the market and then lift the Offer price back up and then tighten the spread. Easy shares for them if they are still filling buy orders. May even be the market makers who dipped the price for that same purpose.

If the Crest monthly data is to be believed then there is no real change since December and it certainly hasn't stopped this weeks rise which suggest at least 1 buyer behind the scenes.

Hopefully they cross a threshold and we get an RNS next week. That or a "whale" announcement.

Thought the Times might have written an editorial on the MyProtein Iceland frozen meal sales having crossed the 1 Million mark threshold in only a matter, particularly as they were happy to devote print to Matt Moulding's coffee fixation in his earlier days. In fact they will have been spoilt for choice this week off all the positive articles from senior members of staff on Linkedin this week.

Most are sat here waiting for KLSO to work their full magic and for several "whale" deals, Boots looking like its on the cusp of being announced.

Try buying THG shares on the morning of that one is announced.

Friendly as they are, no doubts about it they have access to capital markets and the knowhow within to easily imvho treble their money, minimum.

Maybe they have presented MM with the vehicle to let him realise the true value of Nutrition, of Beauty and of THG Ingenuity.

The lack of any regulation and supervision has created a wealth making industry whereby companies values are destroyed whilst others feast on vast profits through shorting. The list in the article is a good one but not complete and you can add many other Tech and growth companies. It leads to large political party donations and probably knighthoods so never a will to change it imho.

Hard to swallow if you were in at IPO but as others have pointed it creates value opportunities where what has been spent growing the business and the sum of parts are completely disconnected.

None moreso than THG and then in come the Active Investors like Kelso and others to restore value and make similarly vast profits. Capital event here or THG follows the flight across the Atlantic and relists in the US, either in totality or individually with THG Nutrition, Beauty or Ingenuity.

Goldenyears mentioned earlier about CRH and Flutter choosing to move their primary listings to the US in news out today.

More higher profile though is the news that ARM (and Softbank) have chosen to list in the US

Given what has happened to the share prices of many technology, IT and growth companies in recent years and UK markets failing to fully reflective true value, and with virtually zilch regulation by the FCA is it really any wonder.

No more pertinent case at hand than the undervaluation of THG and Matt Moulding having spelt this out in an analysts meeting on all the recent takeover deals for Nutrition and on what earnings multiples they were taken out.

Softbank themselves have their own first hand knowledge with THG. Darktrace another from immediate memory.

Next capital event coming here or THG, or with the friendly help of Kelso THG will be following suit with relisting THG Beauty, THG Nutrition or THG Ingenuity in the US. That's why they are onboard.

It would't surprise if it did as there is definitely a much different feel about the share price since it reached its inflection point and the communications became a lot better. Lots of past and new posters now also coming out of the woodwork.

Bought some Kelso a few days back also and just waiting for them to catch the same wind, as they stand to be major beneficiaries from any rises or capital events.
